I received the exact same letter on Monday morning - same amounts, same mistakes ("we are now requires (sic) full payment" and the comma in the amount next to 'Balance Due'). I've reported it to Citizen's Advice and Action Fraud. There must be many vulnerable people who might be taken in by this scam.dadsma said:
This is everything received about the pcn
This morning I also received an email purporting to be from HCEO, so whoever they are, they have my email address as well as my postal address and car registration number.3 -

If you do what @Coupon-mad advised, you will find that it is to do with people who applied for insurance for cab/taxi drivers or food delivery drivers (if memory serves).Coupon-mad said:No because this scam doesn't involve getting data from the DVLA.

Thank you.
I've had another email from these fraudsters this morning. I dread to think how many people, especially the more vulnerable members of society, have been duped by them.
---Good morning,
The last day you had the opportunity to pay off your debt has expired.
Following the thorough investigations we have carried out, we have taken the decision to involve a team of locksmiths to attend the Removal Action that will take place at your home address.
After the discussion we had with the locksmiths team, we agreed that Removal Action will take place Thursday, 14th March 2024 at 3:00 p.m.The High Court Enforcement Officers, Sydney Thompson and David Chris Furlonger,
will be accompanied by a team of locksmiths and a Police Officer who will attend the removal action to maintain order.
If you want to pay the debt in full or create a payment plan and pay the first instalment, you have up to 30 minutes before the High Court Enforcement Officers arrive at your home address.
If High Court Enforcement Officers have already arrived at your address, there is nothing further I can do in order to stop the Removal Action and your assets will be seized.Once the High Court Enforcement Officers arrive at your door, they will have all documents in their possession, including pictures of your vehicle parked on our client's property, date and time it was parked, copy of PCN and copy of Writ of Control, which you will be allowed to read.
I recommend that someone be home when the removal action takes place so that we do not have to force our way into your home in order to seize your belongings.
If we seize your vehicle, we will no longer have to enter into your house.I want to mention that if you have paid off the debt or if you have been set up on a payment plan and have paid the first instalment but would like to dispute this debt, if you can prove that it was not you or your vehicle, we will refund the amount paid.
If you have already paid your debt or set up a payment plan and have already made your first payment, please ignore this email.
Kind regards,
HCEO Team

I've added the details of this email to the original report that I filed with Action Fraud. I can't see any evidence that they're acting on it, but I've done my bit.Coupon-mad said:

Having looked at some of the older threads, I think you may be right. I too have used the online delivery vehicle insurance company Zego in the past.2
