Santander online banking offline repeatedly

Santander was forcing me to use 2FA to login using Firefox on Linux Mint 21.3. Sandi was hiding too. I turned off uBlock Origin for that site, and added www.santander.co.uk to my exclusion list for the pop up blocker. Both problems went away. Your browser settings can cause problems.

I frequently use Santander Android app without issues, the Virgin Money & YBS Android apps can be a minor pain for me out of the apps I do use

Mine is very patchy on home pc but app always seems ok.

I use the app 3-4 times a week and not seeing any issues.  For a while I had to be sure to log out otherwise I had to kill the app (Android) before logging in, but I think that is resolved.

I use the online system several times a week and have not experienced any outages. If you have a problem, I suggest that you look at the Service Status:

I have just been using Santander online banking (not app), it went to the not available page about 7 times out of 10, had to use the app in the end. As others have already said this has been going on for months and as far as I know Santander are fully aware of it.

P.S. I have tried Chrome, Firefox, Brave and Edge all randomly have problems.

I have trouble all the time get to end of transaction and says online banking not available - I have  about 3 or 4 attempts before a transaction will go through - this is a business account for a charity.    Very annoying - my iPad has nearly been chucked across the room many a night 🤬
