Is anyone else finding that Santanders online 'service' has become increasingly 'out of order' ?
In January mine was offline for 4 consecutive days.On ringing their helpline I was told they saw no issues flagged on their system.
Yet going to a certain website logging problems showed that customers had logged them in London(where I live) Birmingham and Manchester plus other cities.
To add insult to injury after my call I received a generic email asking if I'd thought of applying for online banking instead of the telephone service !!
Having now lost or received intermittent service 5 times in 2 months I finally raised a complaint.
I was also told I could find my balance and ministatement at my local branch.
Guess what ?
The ATM screens were showing the message "losding configuration data" and not providing a service.
Anyone else having similar problems?
I'm on the verge of switching banks but like the 1/2/3 Account.

That was unlikely to be Santander.

I've had problem intermittently and that resulted in me not being able to make a payment which I then meant I accrued interest on an account that otherwise would have been in credit.  I complained to Santander and their line was since the fault told me to ring the bank there was no reason for me not to have made the payment on time.  Frankly I didn't fancy calling a bank as my OH was seriously ill in ICU at the time and I didn't like to be tying up the phone line but that apparently was immaterial.

I've found since that when I get this type of error that if I arrow back on the pc it will then let me in to my account.  So something is wrong somewhere but Santander says it's not an issue.

(down south, no, I don't use the app and am unlikely to start soon)

Why use the app of a system that can't operate a working online system?
And before anyone asks I've cleared my browser cache, used different browers etc

Santander is my main account and I usually log in daily. Most times I use the app (old version usually but sometimes also the new). Occasionally, I have to use online banking, e.g. to change an SO. I use Chrome for online banking, and the app is on iPhone. I can’t recall any login or other usability issues.

Do you have any browser extensions, ad blockers etc installed? Do you use a VPN? Who is your broadband provider?

An online system isn’t a pre-req for an app. Some companies, including banks, are app-only.
