Well did pepys watch it? What a f*** injustice! I was literally shouting at the telly! Proof yet again that sir A does not like strong women me thinks! Interesting that the men on hs interview panel are ok to be blatantly aggressive & confrontational but not for girlies!! grrr Not on...
On the money front all I can say is I need to sit down & do the math but suspect I'm slightly behind. Luckily Egg have given me a 0% deal so its salvagable but the balance have gone the wrong way lol!! Lost track slightly due to clothes shopping, allotment stuff & 400+ miles of petrol for work which put a dent in the o/d as its gone up so much which is galling as my allowance havent gone up with it...quelle suprise!
Looking forward to the weekend. Its been a tough week in work for various reasons and I suspect I am hormonal (due to todays chocolate consumption which is usually a sure sign!!) and quite tired as watched apprentice, youre hired & youre fired (although was so tired by the latter will have to watch again!!) ...so didnt get to bed until late. Off to make bread - always helps!! Hug all...:)

  • Much as I like Lee, Sir Alan clearly does not like strong opinionated women. Katrina (i think thats her name) should clearly have won last year.

Hope damage to OD is minimal ISOM.

  • I watched them all as well, so yep can agree i am tired too. I think claire should have won, but he was ok.
    get selling missus...minimise the damage...

    What a f*** injustice!

that made me laugh - you are now going to be forever the granny out of Kathryn Tate in my mind!

Didn't watch it myself but heard them both on Chris Evans today. Don't people talk properly anymore? Now I'm sounding like a granny but they were both horrible speakers.:D

SS never seen catherine Tate sorry!! Can you do a inky of an example lol!!

After much deliberation I did a BT to my 0% egg offer to wipe out the dire month I've had. I real terms its a blip of a couple of months but annoying as I was doing so well. Part of it I think it that work has been hard this week with lots to do and think about which can be exhausting, athough there ARE some lovely postives which helps. Hormones have a part to play plus was tired after my late night due to apprentice! I was meant to be on a course 3 days next week but they cancelled so have booked the whole week off on hol instead! Quite last minute (ie 3pm today!!) and I'm quite excited and think I needed a break...sometimes important in my job to recognise my NEED to have a breather and go back refreshed and this is one of those weeks.
I'm peeling terribly from my sunburn last week! Havent peeled for years lol! Hopefully going to London on Tues and Neil Diamond on Thurs which is v. exciting. May go away if mum wants to as aware she was very tired & weepy when I spoke to her yesterday and both of us could do with a change me thinks :)
Meanwhile enjoying a bottle of red (safe in the knowledge that even if I get a migraine I have nine days to recover - how fab is that!!) and catching up...hugs all.
Oh forgot - car went for MOT and their emissions machine broke but other than that it passed!! Yipee!! Was worried re new brakes, tyres etc and imagined a 200 bill...fingers crossed fridge freezer lasts as it will cost 300 to replace & with the blip that aint good! Debating getting a new stereo as mine bust and I listen to music more than I did but could use my cinema system for a bit...will investigate ebay etc...and go to car boot tom!

  • Well enjoy the wine and hopefully no hangover! I think having unexpected time off is great, so you can come on here a lot, or try out some fab recipes of weezls..x

ooo update! Finally got my mum (unsucessfully on skype lol!!) and we agreed that we will go away for a night on Friday & maybe sat depending on how we feel or we may just stay & dig the plot! Either way a relaxing week...London on Tues to see my boys (or I should say young men!!), then Neil on Thurs, hair booked on Sat (but may have to change!) and general chilling & reading with noo (or very little!) work... Bliss!
