Pleased to report a blissful day in ISOM land! Nice slow morning with the chores doing and then went for a cuppa with Weezl; then to plot with Mr Weezl for hard labour (ok planting!!) and more forraging for elderflower and then popped in to see a friends chicken set up & ended up staying & having chinese and a natter! Just home - tired but in a good way...spent little as shared the chinese and only got needed bits I needed - a teapot being one of them!
Plan for tomorrow is make sure I get up early enough for car boot cos I missed it this am because I was so slow getting going and then off to allotment in the afternoon! Booked my ticket to go to London on Tues and managed to get it as cheap as I could but alas not via quidco...will now catch up on you lot before an earlish night! Hard worl all this gardening!

  • OO me too. I am looking forward to another carboot. There are some nutters on there but i love all the banter.
We should compare notes at the end of the day. Glad it was a good one for you. x

aw thanks taxi! While I did have a week off in May this ne felt needed IYKWIM! Feeling free & liberated! Just had another lovely day...baked a cake by 8.30am! Had yummy HM toast, then popped to car boot, came home and did some stuff on comp and had a snooze. Then friend popped in for tea (new friend so nice to have a natter) and cake. Then cooked yummy indian meal with REAL indian ingredients (from local indian supermarket I just found), made cherry brandy (not hard - chuck tin of cherries in sterilised jar with 4 tablespoons of sugar, top up with brandy & away you go! Shake every few days until sugar gone and leave for 3 months! drain (use cherries on ice cream etc) and rebottle and then yummy christmas pressies await - if you can bear to give them away! Now just chilling with TV!

umm posted & it vanished! Have been a bad DFW. Went to a pet shop. That had live animals. I resisted the kitten which was VERY impressive cos they were dead cute! Didnt quite manage it with the hamster! I think its a he and he's very sweet! Currently fast aspeep and cats have lost intererst - mind you it wasnt bothered by them looking in either!! Did tell myself that I couldnt have new CD plyer & hamster and managed that ok! Had my hair cut and lunch out after going to dr for nicoteine tabs, which I hope will be the last lot...off to London tomorrow for the day so ironing to do tonight!! What fun!

  • Well done on resisting, but i hate hamsters..don't know why, as i like rats and mice..i think its just them.

Have a lovely day in london tomorrow. catch you later.
    Bob x
