Sounds like a good day ISOM, hope today has been equally as nice. I have red shoulders form car boot, and bought some cheap plonk to celebrate the weeks takings, i may well be empathising with you tomorrow. xBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Hello lovely people! Had a lovely day. Slept until 10 which is unheard of for me!! Then had my lovely toast catching up here and went off to Sains to do bits & Wilkinsons to get compost & plants...two lovely creeping ones for the arch so hopefully that will be covered in flowers by next year (name that plant beginning with C that creeps....umm...oh yes clematis!). Does anyone know how to take cuttings to save me buying again?!! Then did some weeding and pulling up of grass (which I have in abundence!) before having a clear out in the greenhouse where I discovered yet another ants nest grr...next weekend will have to empty it & sweep it out but put some spray & hot water on for now! Felt bad for the anty but they really have gone and built a flipping ant mansion in there!! Also planted lots of seeds (VERY late but better late than never eh!!) so will now have to be a good allotmenteer and go up after work. The lovely Mr Weezl has done lots of digging which has really made a huge difference cos I'm such a wuss!!
Then home, some (but not much!) husework and it will be another early night as head pounding. The hightlight of the week will be the final of the apprentice!! Sad. Moi?!!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Even in the darkest moments, love and hope are always possible.0 -
Clematis seems to root in anything, so i would take some new shoots, put some rooting powder on and watch it go.
I know what you mean about headaches, mine is pounding form the sun today.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Glad you had a great day. Useless with plants so cant help there. Highlights for me in the week will include the Apprentice go Lee, Claire if not and the other two I want to fail becasue I dont like backstabbers. Although I did slightly warm to Helene in the Interview stage.:j0

hi what a mixed back of weather this weekend, got soaked swimming around the shops yesterday and sat outside writing invitations today.
My veggies are doing well, but the lettuces have been masacred by slugs, i am now at war!
I have received my CJ and all i can say is THANK YOU SO MUCH it is fabulous, it may be been scary at times but i've learnt so much from doing this CJ, things i can use on my scrapbooking in other areas. I hope everyone loves the journal they have received back0 -
Great that you got yours - mine was back ast week thanks to pa being so good. Sea hasnt had hers yet but I'll got it done this w/e...Took the afternoon off work & went forraging for elderflowers which are now mashing for 24 hrs! Smells of wee but my mum loves cordial! Also made a ginger one which is yummy and then ran out of steam! Busy day tom so have pimms in for the apprentice final to chill & relax...
Hope youre all ok! BTW Wendy I want either of the girls (Claire first, Helene second prob) to win - I can relate to Claire as we are simular (but I am sure very annoying!!) personalities!! Strong, direct women who are also caring! Although I'm rubbish at selling!!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Even in the darkest moments, love and hope are always possible.0 -
I can live with that but I still like Lee but please let Alex be last. I didnt like the way Claire was at the start but at least you know where you are with her.:j0

I like Lee as a person but Sir A would eat him for breakfast me thinks!! Can relate to the C comments but for me probably that she made me feel umcomf as elements of me!! I'm not quite a rotweiller and have mellowed with age but can be known to get my hair off on occasion!!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1!
