I have done the same with lunches and boy does it add up!!!...you are so right that it's the little things that add up...
Also you should never compare yourself to how other people are doing as everybodys circumstances are different. Please never see yourself as a failure because you are NOT!!!!!...You're debt is coming down so you are winning the battle.Take care xx

Evening all! Goodish week here. Spent very little in relatve terms! 5.88 on emergency beer, petrol today and a 1/2 price hand blender that I needed after my tesco one melted & then compleaty broke! This ones much better as its got a little blender at the bottom, whisk & wizzy thing so am chuffed although managed to slice my finger on the blade!
Had a nice day off and got some weeding done. Was meant to have a day out tomorrow but its cancelled so may just go to town to do bits intead of going to Bristol. I need new saucepans as mine are no longer non stick! Other than that a quietish weekend planned with allotment and hopefully seeing friends! Hope youre all ok!

Feel ok about it dragon...one good thing about the no spends weeks is it means I already spend less IYKWIM so makes these unexpected things less stressy. Plus the pans I have did done well as I've had them 8 years but do cook so much more than I did! Tesco handblender was cheap & didnt last so bearing in mind I use it at least weekly thought it worth the investment...

Evening all...well a goodish day but have been a BIT UN-DFWISH! Started this am with yet another migraine and wonder if its reduction in sugar plus not smoking (about 5 lozenges a day now) or drinking much at all (had 3 drinks a book club a week ago) so all good. Feeling fat but weighed this am & lost 2 ibs this week which is good.
The un-dfw in me said s** it & got the cable back for 10 a month! I've cut down so much in other areas (GB, books, mags etc) but have missed my crappy TV so much that its back and have had a blissful time watching animal progs (they always make me cry though!!) and sommat about gastric surgery for weebles like me!! Wish I had a spare 10 grand (dont we all lol!!)
The good dfw in me had a days shopping & can confidently say I got the best & cheapest new pans on the market!! (asda aonished ones) Plus ques for 10 mis to get 10% off cos the box was in bts plus one of the pans had a scratch on (not made by me - would never do that!) so got 3 new pans for 32!! BARGAIN!! Will get the wok a bit later and will try & get this by cutting down on GB this week! Finally getting the hang of this DFW lark!! Have also, joyfully noticed that depite my previou upset at CC being higher than I would like that I am ahead of myself in paying of 8000 by at least a month which is FAB!! Esp bearing in mind that I paid off 10,000 in two years so at this rate will be paid off far sooner in terms of the CC! Fab! Hope youre all ok. Tomorrow planning time at the allotment, may meet a friend for coffee while I get some seeds from the GC and think I have vouchers so will get the coffee free too!! Hugs for ya!

Yes to the shifting of weight (docs have cut my steroids! woot!!), a friend of mine did LighterLife and within a month of finishing she piled on all the weight she had lost and then some!

Exercise - well seeing as Dr Dragon is signed off and told to exercise etc :o

Losing weight, giving up smoking and being a DFW are all tough sometimes something has to give. With me the chocolate eating is back with a vengence. Do you still have alcohol? Because I find I can barely drink now ith my tablets and get bad headaches so could it be that triggering the migraines?

Well done on the pans I promise not to go buy any as I do have enough to get by but yours sound great and sooooo cheap.
