hi isom, what a weekend, terrible weather - it can stop raining now that the water butts are full! i mean enough it enough!
Had OH here which is wonderful but despite our best intentions we ate out too much which hasn't helped the budget or diet. We did go shopping at Morrisos, OH cut some tokens out of the sun £5 off if you spend £30 which is too easy to do. Had a set too in Tesco's, they've made me change my clubcards and i think because of that, despite my giving over the money voucher, and them keeping it i noticed when i got home (isnt' it always the way) that they didn't take the £5 off the bill. I called them and they agreed with me but would only put it on a gift card which i argued was terrible as i had already spent the £5 once why should have to do so again to get the money back. In end i got a refund of something i bought, picked up the voucher and then re bought what i'd returned. Does that sound a bit obsessive? it does to me but it was my money! I did spend some birthday money in The Range on some lovely crafting things and have printed off some photo's today so i'm ready for my crop next saturday - first time ever!

Helo LT! Nt borning at all! ooo going to a cro - you lucky thing! Havent been to one for ages! Has OH gone back now? Hugs for you as know its hard when he goes again...Not long till the wedding is it?
Had a quietish day cooking and tidying then had Mr & Mrs Weezl for tea (they tasted lovey!!) and then had a chat wih mum who has been in France and had a great time. Shes up next weekend for the RFL!
Off to bed in a mo as dreaded W*** tomorrow!

yep OH is away for another 2 weeks, i know he's moving in soon but it's just not soon enough. wedding is ..... 4 months today by date i can't wait.
i'm looking forward to the crop, i've managed to get my sister to do as it's one of her rare sat's with her hubby not tutoring.
I've just managed to knock £100 off my overdraft, i'd planned it from the start of the month but wanted to make sure i got to the end ok before i did it. I'm also glad i checked online as the bank didn't transact the transfer i asked for and they would have rejected my 1st mortgage payment tomorrow if i hadn't stepped in.

oops that would not have been good would it eh! WIth the new banking system it should be automatic soon instead of the 3 days wait for money to move! Enjoy the crop! Must do my CJ entry as noticed its posting next week!.

I must admit i have also been eyeing up the nettles, but not brave enough yet.

hello bob! Ntced while lurking at work (cant log in cos "they" watch!!) that you have a thread so will look for it now & say hi to you for a change! Bagels were nice but too light but that is because I put 3 eggs in rather than the required 2 (1 for glazing but missed that until too late!). WIll try MrsMcC's recipe which doesent have eggs to compare & contrast! They are yummy though! Re the nettles just go for it - they are seriously good for you & actually delicious! Even better theyre free and lots of people tried mine & none said yuk! Just make sure you use gloves!

Found out BTW that we didnt get on the TV! I rang ast week as hadnt heard from them...disappointed but more hacked off at the lack of courtesy shown by them...

Bad luck on missing out on the TV ISOM Hope the rest of the day went well. Im still having probs with computer, cant acess aol (my emails), no thanks button on here and even Amazon page looks different. No idea what has happened????
