lol wendy will work out the acurate & up to date figure when I've done my sums later!! Will be closer to 30 then! LT there is a band of rain coming here so I assume its coming from there!
Also forgot to say in mye excitement that the tablets are working...no noticable PMT!! Alas have Ppain but no PMT is fab! Didnt even know!! Feels something of a relief TBH!! Have decided to stay on them 6 months & then review...
Just poke to Egg who STILL havent transferred my 54+ into my ac!!!! & am now going to make a complaint. The woman made out that I should be grateful that they did transfer the £60 I asked them to in Jan even if they havent transferred this now!!! F**** cheek!

    Debt-free and Proud!
    Hey hun,

Sorry you've not been feeling too well. Hope the weekend is helping you recover a bit.

I've not had much of a chance to catch up but just had to post.

WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW!!!!! Look at you paying off over £10K. That's great going hun!

And I do know what you mean about being disappointed it's not more tham 26% but what you have to remember is that at the very start, you're paying off lots of front loaded interest with your debt IYSWIM? So compared to the second half of the debt, paying off the first half will feel like a harder slog. Does that make sense? I've certainly noticed that it all feels a bit easier having reached the 50% summit even if the actual damage to my monthly funds is the same.

Anyhoo, well done you! Hope you feel better soon.

Morning debtbusters! Well I've done me sums & ts 26.87% paid off with 90.26% debt to salary which is a vast improvement on the 137% that it was at the start! Total debt paid this month is 780.70 so thats not bad & I'll bung extra in if I get it. Babysitting paid for haircut etc so all good plus I am on call all over the BH weekend so get an extra day & night which will help the coffers! (?p!!). Took a nightol last night & woken up feeling very grggy & in a "cant be bothered" mood! Not sure if I will be bothered or just stay here all day! I can survive not going out although should go & do a wee shop but it can wait! Tempted just to chill here & be lazy for the day!! (again! ahh the joys of being a DFW!!) ...off to update sigs, transfer money & catch up on you lot! Hugs all & hello Mol...good to see you n my wee thread! Any news re your move etc? Hope youre ok :)

hi glad the tablets have worked on the pmt.
i turns out last night i made a big mistake - decided to treat myself to a lovely bath (been over a year since had a long soak) anyway i now have water pouring out of the tank overflow into the bath. argh! We got a plumber out to fix it about 6 mths ago and i can't afford to do the same again especially on weekend call out rates. Wonder if i can fix it?

wish you lived closer LT as I have a lovely plumber who doesent charge extortionate rates....I wouldnt try to fix it unless you know whats what! What is what?!! Cant quite get whats leaking..is it where you let water out? Crack in a pipe perhaps? Do you have one of theose huge DIY books to look at?!! Keep us posted & hope theres not too much damage!

previously it was 'water hammer' and i think the ball c*ck stick thingie is stiff because the tank hasn't been emptied so fast for ages and i just need to adjust it up so the inflow stops. At the moment i'm trying to figure out on the inflow valve whether the water stops if the line is horizontal or vertical. Unfortunately there's a lot of thingies in my plumbing abilities.
