    Hiya lovelies,

Just a flying to visit to say sorry for not being around but an old colleague is ill so I'm helping to run her pub for two weeks. It has a staff of about 40 and takes about £25k a week so I haven't had time to scratch my @r$e if you'll pardon the expression.

Sods law dictates that this is the fortnight that all those BINs that I loaded my new eBay shop up with are selling like the proverbial hot cakes, but at least my main job and my p/t job were understanding about me wanting to help my mate out.

Missing you all loads and I'll have to have a massive catch up on my next day off.

Big squidgy hugs all round my lovelies,

    Love Jacks xxx :D

Morning...cats now back to normal & rugs all washed! I think they just get anxious when I go away as they're so used to having me around! Bless em!! Had a nice meal out yesterday & today will be spent here chilling & catching up on washing - 2 loads of sheets to wash as well as london stuff! Bizarre how oing away for 1 night creates so much washing!! Must also do piggy & get on with CJ (been saying that for weeks I know!!)...nowt else planned but may do a nice loaf of bread! Budget incredibly tight for rest of month so need to be a bit creative me thinks! Did get new clothes yesterday ...trousers, shirt & undies which very comfy but a bit roomy! Must have been having a fat moment when I got them - trousers falling down so will have to use the belt!!

Hi ISOM glad to hear the cats are better now.Got loads of washing myself as well.First lot is on anyway.I had to buy loads of new undies yesterday as well...lol...enjoy your bread..absolutely love the smell of fresh bread baking.
  • Good to hear that everything has now calmed down, ISOM. I used to house sit for someone whose cat did that every time she went away. I definately think they stress a bit when owners go away. Luckily the cat took to me very well and would often follow me back to my house and sit in garden with me for a hug etc.
Could you send the trousers back or take them to another outlet?

Afternoon bob! Hows the pain? Did they find anything with tests? Cats always seem to get dodgy tummy when I go! They love their uncle T & have known him for years but just doesent seem to make a difference & was only away a night this time!
Just been busy catching up on o/s threads as want to get my GB down. Made some of the famous hobnobs which are DEEEEEElicious! Not good for my ever expanding waistline (8oz butter!!) but a nice treat! Also made a nie loaf of bead but it looks a bit short so hope its ok when I cut into it! More washing on, cleaned the bathroom and bleached al the drains. Having a bit of a cant be bothered but bored day IYKWIM!! Should be at the allotment as the weather is perfect for it but again couldnt be bothered! Pathetic...although migraine still lingering so that may be why....Trousers I will have to put up with me thinks as theyve been worn but will be ok with belt! Comfy if nowt else!!

  • Pain ok, still have twinges but maybe due to a bit of infection. kidney stone seems to have cleared out thank God.
I am having one of those days as well..totally pdd off for some reason.
Probably lack of sleep and a couple of phone calls from OH's egg company. Have paid, but not shown up on their system, and i have repeatedly told OH what to do....as they say you can lead a horse to water etc. I think i have given up on him, trying very hard..but tis a common complaint on here.
I want an allotment, but like golddust here. You are so lucky to have access to one. Have done all my washing bar the bedding, so will tackle that on Monday if weather stays ok.
I am busy applying for teaching jobs as hate supply work, at best it fits in with routine..at worst well!!
Hope the migraine gets better. A friend of mine used to suffer badly from them, and would deliberately eat the foods that caused it, seemed to help her if she felt one coming on. I don't understand the reasoning behind it but it kind of made sense.
I like comfy trousers as well. I have a pair of threadbare jeans that i am always wearing, i am frightened to over wash them in case they fall apart!
