i think i'm going more nuts than usual. I've fiddled, the leak has stopped but now i'm convinced there's no water getting into the tank even though i've turned the valve thingie again to it's on position. I knew i should have trained in something useful like plumbing rather than accountancy.

are you all sorted LT? If you want me to ring you with my huge diy book in hand (phnar phnar!!) PM me your number & I'll see if I can do owt!! Have done my Mr T shop (note to self take list as I forgot loads!) but came in under 20 and that should be it for the week as in London on Weds night. Day off Friday & then on call all w/e. Will hopefully have a w/e at allotment (how are you doing on the list LT?!!). Went up today for a bit and had a dig & weed...sommat satisfying about weeding but back can only take so much! So peaceful just sitting there eating me packed lunch with birds tweeting! This pm will try & start CJ & do a bit of a piggy plus the dreaded ironing has to be done! Been putting it off for so long that I now MUST do it as no clothes!!

hi ISOM i'm just back inside after an hour in the greenhouse, it was my treat for being a good girl and starting on the bedroom - i've done the easy side - mine! I've just dug in the green manure i planted in my veggie patch, hope it works, have you ever done green manure before? I've got some mangetout which is really crying out to go in the garden and some cabbages, but it's probably too early. I've also put some onion sets in pots, done some spring onion seeds and carrot and parsnip seeds. I've also topped up the spuds which are growning in the compost bag in the corner of the greenhouse.
I think i've sorted the plumbing problem, the leak has stopped and i'm sure (i think) that there's water going back into the water tank. Fingers crossed it's all sorted now.
Still keep meaning to ring up about the allotment but things are so hectic at work at the moment that i don't get a minute to make the call. I'm suspecting that it's a long list though as i don't think the allotment is that huge. I can't believe how warm it is in the greenhouse, it doesn't get tonnes of sun so my plants are slower to germinate than my work mates but it's still a lot warmer than outside, wish i could peg the washing out in it lol
think my time off for good behaviour is at an end must get a bit further in the bedroom, if i don't come back in 2 hours please report me as being taken hostage by the wardrobe pixies.

ooo no hope the wardrobe pixies havent got you! Youve been gone a hour!! Wow loads done! Do you stil have any strawberry plants going as I could do with some if you have spare am happy to pay P&P! Nothing to swap at the mo as been rubbish! Did some more diging & now have 4 raised bed but no pots in yet! Hoping to get quite a bit done next w/e!
Just signed up for lovefilm as realised that even the cheapest 3.99 option is effectively 1 free from what I get now with blockbusters plus am always late (& you dont have late fee!) plus £15 cashback from quidco! Must also start redoing pigsback as been lax lately! Off to do piggy!

Your allotment sounds as though it's doing nicely it will be lovely when it's done..hope you find loads of piggy points...

I've got loads of strawberry plants and they are very healthy, if you can think about how i can put them in the post i'll be willing to do it, they are taking up vital seedling space and i'd rather they go to somewhere nice where they can wriggle their roots.
I haven't really braved the wardrobe, i was nearly suffocated by the dust pixies, i was so ashamed when i cleared off my dressing table, i've never been fab about housework but it's never got so bad before.
I'm at the stage now where i haven't the foggiest where i can put things, guess i need some more storage boxes, but if i do the car boot i can hopefully empty the ones containing the video's and dvd's so buying more would be a waste of money. I think this is why i've given up for the day. Plus i need to start cooking some tea.

LT I have recived lots of plants through the post (mainly from ebay) and they have all survived and grown well afterwards. I have had them sent as root balls or as bare roots in moist tissue. The latter was sandwiched between to pieces of flexible cardboard. Hope that helps

Thanks pap - may be best to leave it as not ready to plant yet anyhoo...just popping in as only just home from work. OK day but need to wind down befre bed so watching the dr who hears voices...hugs all!
