Evening all, Well went back to work today coughing & spluttering but just had SO much to do that I couldnt not...referral to occupational health is in which will mean an interview but seeing as I've seen GP each time not sure what they can say! Just unlucky & Im not sure what else I can do to not be ill - short of stay at home!! Anyhooo!
Did they find a stone bob?
Still not smoking and doubt I will now but have my lozenges at the ready just in case I get the urge!! Books going well & yahoo its payday tomorrow (but that doesent mean I will buy more books although at some stage may be a teesy weensy bit tempted lol!!) so bills to pay & balances to update but wont get that till Sat as babysitting tomorrow too which is good! Have been a bad DFW with lunches this week (got it today at shop)...bad me!

well done on not smoking...you are doing great!!...they can't say anything about you being ill as you have had sick notes so I can't see it being a problem.it's the best time of the month payday ..and getting to pay money off the debts.

Evening all! Yahoooooo its Friday! and payday!! How cool is that eh! I havent done the sums yet but recon that I'll be up to 10,000 paid off this month which is a milestone! Still 27,000 to go but at least a dent & theres a huge psych boost to paying that much off. Most of it is the loans and CC still remain horribly high (oo dont that sound posh!) but will keep plugging away at it! Feeling positive about this month & despite being payday was a very god girl & resisted buying clothes or books, despite a trip out at lunch time! Was naughty and got some lunch (again, bad girl) but will be more organised next week. STill feeling rubbish & really couldnt bear soup...Cold still lingering and having a nice quiet weekend to hopefully recover. Its raining so at least I have the excuse that I dont need to dig! Hair cut tomorrow but ther than that reading, sleeping planned plus a bit of cooking. Babysitting tonight again and suspect they will be uite late - good for money but not for feeling rubbish but at least I can have a lie in tomorrow! Hope youre all ok!
PS couldnt wait so did the sums and will have paid off 10,048!!!! Yahoooo!
Ps how do I work out % debt paid?!!!

congratulations! such a major achievement. It's good to see friends reaching such milestones. I was considering babysitting as another option - do they generally want you to have taken courses etc? Or could the fact that i haven't done anything to damage my sister's 4 (which is and achievement) be considered a good reference?
I've decided on a quiet weekend again, i'm sick and tired of the mess so once again will tackle it, one day i'll get it done and it will stay done.

Thanks Wendy!! Am chuffed but not so chuffed to see its only 26%!! Felt like so much more lol!! Will write the equation down in my book! I cannot imagine how bloody amazing it will be to have it all paid off...reminds me of a hymn "my chains fell off, my heart was free" which always evokes emotion in a spiritual sence but this would be unimagineable! Wont be for a few years yet but will just keep plodding away. I do wonder whether I should do the old snowball but knowing "me" think I would just find it depressing as it would probably come out as years away from what I'd anticipated! I think my idea of just doing the best I can each day (& accepting blips!) is the best way to go & I think with me a better strategy for paying more quicker IYKWIM! An example of my psych is that when I had my true LBM CCCS told me to pay £1 token payments and then ptentially do a DMP! That was enough to scare the s*** out of me & get it sorted myself. Nothing against DMPs but was from that point determined to do it myself, thankfully without having to do a DMP!
Babysittng ended at 12 so that was a nice 27 earned so 38 in two days but nowt booked for a bit due to shift patterns...He's a cutie and I got lovely kisses and cut the cats nails so all happy! The soppiest cat on earth too! Today will be tdying (can relate to the mess LT!) and havng a hair cut and then just chilling. May get a DVD. No wine or fags. Feeling better than I did but not fab. Must get on with CJ & piggies as both have been lasped somewhat! Hope you all have a good day!!
