have been having cat traumas as manu cat got mauled by next doors dog ...thankfully shes just sore & I've told her she is a lucky cat as she managed to get away with help from neighbor but all very upsetting & neghbor is also v.upset but not her fault as manu taunts the dog & stupidly goes to sit on the windowsill...the dog is one of those ones that likes to play with cats by shaking them before killing them so it really was lucky....off to bed we go and will keep an eye on her but no trip to the vet needed for the mo...

Aww poor cat, Im glad she is ok could be so much worse. Hopefully this will warn her to leave the dog alone.

hello all. Mau seems ok. I was worried as to whether I should take her to the vet but couldnt see any puncture marks and she was eating so left her overnigt. She's obviously very sore but still walking and eating. Poor thing. I'm hoping that they will be careful...its a pit bull dog (couldnt remember the name) and manu is just like a moving toy...I've nothing against the dog as its just her nature but I do wonder why people like having breeds like that with children about and I've always felt that but I dont feel any anymosity to neighbor as manus a cat & the dogs just being a dog - its unfortunate but could have been alot worse!
I love the book talk too!! I did try setting up an mse book group but it fell like a tonne of bricks so soon gave up on that one so lovely that people are chatting! Dont know how you listen to kite ruer JB - I wept more in that book than in any other even had to have a hot chocolate when I finished cos I cried so much! Currently starting In the woods which got good write ups...will let you know.
Work was ok after phisio back class this am but have been feeling belugh and think I have a cold/chest infection on the way ..good day for stopping smoking cs I feel rubbish! Was meant to be going to book group social tomorrow but will have to cancel...also meant to be going to mid wales o weds so that will be fun...not! Early night tonight me thinks along with nice drugs! Will try & catch up but bear with me..I feel cack!
