    Hi ISOM, Hi P

As you're both on the thread..thought I'd drop in to say thank you both for the chats last night :A :A (One each!!)

    Much appreciated.:grouphug:

Would love to say it's been a better day today..but spent most of day on phone to insurance company getting nowhere..:wall:.......they would not even agree to put me through to the right person/department to make a formal complaint!! :wall: :wall::wall:although did finally get a name to write to :D but am sure they have now got me classed as a complete madwoman:rotfl:

Anyhow feeling better tonight. ....now resigned to having to go legal. _pale_. Loss adjuster would only agree extension of two weeks with a possible view to maybe a later extension if required (as if landlord would accept that...if I were in his shoes I would just chuck me out on 31st and get in a tenant who will commit to 6 months rather than my two weeks!)

Perhaps I should set the ferrets onto the insurance company P?? Hope they're now settling in together. and ISOM...will send mail tomorrow

Off to bed early tonight...bit tired

    Thanks once again both

    Speak soon
    Love and hugs

    Hi ISOM

Thank you for your inspiring words before, will keep them in my head :D

Tootling off to the library tomorrow to look for Thousand Splendid Sins - just want to read it now I heard everyone talking about it, failing the library I'll try the 2nd hand book shop. Going away with the kids for a week soon and want a good book (like they'll let me read on the plane but I can wish  )

I did Rebecca for A Level English and it took me ages to read it but when I did I was glad I had. I think I ended up getting the study notes to get me through part of it. Those were the days ;)

Having a mare with my cat, has obviously discovered a nest of baby mouse and wants to "please" me with them. He has been bringing them in routinely for last few nights. DH is away, I hate them, so he is outside on window sill miaowing loudly with a s0dding baby mouse (alive!!) hanging from his mouse  Dog is barking and cat is looking at me with pleading eyes to come in - HELP!!!!!!!!

ISOM...\Rebecca sounds tedious but a thousand splendid suns I will lokk out for in the library.I don't go for any particular kind of book really I just read the back bit and if it looks interesting I get it.If I can't get into it I take it back to the library.
Have a good day and take care x

    Hey all,

I've never finished Rebecca either. :o I think if you don't like "her" then you don't enjoy the book - and I quite often wanted to give her a firm talking to! :D (You know me!)

I'm in the mood for a little splurge today. We 're off down the library in a bit and we'll have a play with the make up in Boots to see what takes our fancy.

I love a bit of powder and paint, and I haven't bought anything "unnecessary" for ages, so I declare today be Treat Day. we might even pay a ridiculous sum of money to have coffee out as well!

My daughter is a bit gorgeous isn't she? :) (SHE doesn't think so!) My friend G says I should get her a T shirt that says My Mum says Bog Off! I find it hard not punch men in their late 20's, 30s and 40s who check her out - cos maybe they think she's older than 12/13 but there's now way she looks older than 18 IRL!

Ewww about the baby mouse situation Jelly Babies! Bleaugh!

    Love Jacks xxx :D

Evening all! Flipping heck...go to work & theres all this chat!! Only kidding lovely to have peope chatting cos I feel neglected when noone says anything! Its demoralising! Have been trying to get to bed by 10 as struggle to get up otherwise so only just got these!!
Ok so to answer posts...good Wol that things are being sorted but look after yourself eh!
Re spelndid suns I think youre unlikely to get it at library without a loooong wait but amazon & asda are selling it cheap if you feel naughty! Its not the sort of book I would normally have read as its about afganistan but its just soo beautiful & he is a wonderful story teller...I'm determined to finish rebecca and am getting there but I have to say jacks I'm up to the giving her a good slapping at this point!!
Jelly babies ewwww is all I can say! eek with mice! I held a hamster today (no not a euphamism for sommat dodgy or sexual!!) and was v proud of myself as they are a bit rat like but it was quite sweet in a back crawling kind of way!! As for your puss cat...umm...having a chat doesent work and with my one that goes out (the other two believe may have cat agrophobia!) has to get locked in at night cos otherwise she miows downstairs (loudly!) as the previous resident used to giver her chicken at 5am and she thinks she should still get it!! New neighbor does not agree!! This means that I get soppy cat on my bed, no worries about her getting mauled by foxes and definately no mice in my bed (which would SERIOUSLY have me screaming for the police or something equally ridiculous)...tell her youre doing the FKM and just dont need it this week and add "ok" after it & see where that goes...will pop over to runners & see how you are re flm (how are you re marathon may be easier!).
Jacks yes she is gorgeous & I would go for the chastity belt option just in case some cad gets hold of her - either that or lock her up til shes 40! Has the bag sold yet?
ok so now for moi! Back from an ok day at work - got a reasonable amount done but as alwys loads to do but did get to do two visits which was lovely as I am more office based now (being manegerial dont you know!!) and even have another one tomorrow which is fab!
Home to yummy lamb I cooked yesterday but it didnt taste like curry!! Lost 2ibs this week and happy with that! Have felt hungry at times though but trying to have healthy snacks!
Did even think (note the think but didnt do!!) about going for a swim! Didnt but at least the thought was there! One of my ebay parcels hasnt arrived but thankfully not the dvd from what I can tell!
Other than that just chilling! A NSD today for me & should be another tomorrow! Also got the rota for on call & I have the whole BH weekend which is great as its an extra bit of dosh!! Great news and I never go away bank hols as hate traffic. Am going to see my cousin for dinner on Sat which I'm really looking forward to as havent seen her for ages!

Glad you agree ewww to the mouse, I really detest them. I'm getting ready for him to go out again and then will lock the cat flap. Ended up staying up really late until he had finished playing with them last night to let him back in and then lock him in again. God knows how many mice we will come home to after the weekend

Lamb sounds very nice, I'm just shoving my face with pasta in preparation, getting a bit bored now.

Hope you enjoy another NSD tomorrow as well.
