Wel I'm back after a trip to the allotment where I got quite a bit of digging done and have moved a raised bed over its new hole...its flipping hard work though! Had a natter with my mate over a cuppa (choc for me & coffee for him!) and put the world right & before people say anything he's a mate! A married mate! Theres always quite a bit to do there as its a big plot (10 perches for those in the know!) and lots of weeds & cooch grass which amongst other nasty weeds is a pain in the bum cos you gotta dig em up all the time, then they grow again...and on it goes! The problem with taking a plot that hadnt been worked for ages! Frogs spawn swimming happily in the pond whch means the frogs have made it home which is nice! (they eat bugs & I think evil slugs!). Also some poppies out that I planted last year which was a lovely surprise! Doing well at not spending as have some seeds for now but not quite ready for planting yet...LT you really should get one - so therapeutic and lovely listening to the birds, radio and just digging gently. Very satisfying getting rid of weeds too!
Then Ikea and managed 27 which isnt bad as got a new lamp (have to go back tomorrow as t has no bulb...v.annoying but I did notice free coffee at 10.30 so being a good dfw will take adtantage of that!), new sheet (what I went for) & a couple of plants & a pot. Quite happy with that as they all look nice and manages to resist an exspensive one!! (just!!)...Hope youre all ok?Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Sounds like you had a wonderful time and the exercise and fresh air is great. You did well in IKEA..they have seeds really cheap in lidl both vegetable and flower ones if thats any use to you.I don't blame you having to go back for free coffee....lol0

Hey ISOM - your allotment sounds lovely - poppies - love them! Just drew some on a LO actually.
Just considering doing a Book Of Me - highly self indulgent, but realised that there are very few photos of me, and I would like to do a mini book. Also realised that with my anger and relationship issues, there are hardly any of OH either, which will just not do, so intend to make sure we are both in photos more often!
Anyway, that aside, hope you have a nice evening - and hope Ikea isn't too manic tomorrow morning! I got some gorgeous acrylic paint in Home Bargains for 99p per massive tube so v happy with my bargains too

Snow here just hope the weather improves for this week. Heading closer to you on Monday to Somerset unless you are in North Wales that is!
Dont like to fox either just annoying and smug.:j0 -
Considered it yes...
Started the BOM last night - but think it's too small!! So might have to stick the nice pages onto a 12x12 LO instead and carry on, doing larger LOs. Mind you, still got a full box of real photos, and several disks of digi photos to scrap so think I have oplenty to go on!! Need adhesive yet again and also some plain white 12x12 cardstock - only have 3 pieces left which will never do.
Hope you have a nice day.

No wendy am in south wales!! The capital no less! Are you going on hol? Minehead perhaps?!! Hello sea - just do what you enjoy - its for you after all! Re the counc why not ask your gp when you go? Can def recc it as helping sift stuff in your head & iron out the woolley muddles!
Just back from Ikea (again!) but spent 11 this tme as got the lightbulbs which were £5+ for two (albeit energy saving!), some vanilla tea lights & a lapshade (other one bust & looks tatty on the floor)...then to asda for food with my diet sheet in hand! Confirming once again that I loathe asda as they had virtually nowt that I wanted! Much pref tesco but it was 23 which isnt bad but will have to go to tesco soon to get the other bits! Just going to chill this pm and possiby have a snooze as feeling quite fuzzled this afternoon...Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Well done on being good in IKEA - I am a nightmare in there. I have a whole stash of vanilla tea lights as I just love them.
OH has always wanted an allotment but there is a huge waiting list, so he is converting part of the back garden into one instead. Think it should be very therapeutic for him.Long haulers supporters DFW #109NR Loan #1 - £2951.18 Nov 08/0 -

Off to Burnham/Brean and forecast looks cold.
Only been to Cardiff once when I was 10. My Dad was a lorry driver who took me out wih him that summer. The previous time he had been to Cardiff he crashed. Guess what tuning left he managed to miss a parked car in his blind spot an gorged a great big dent in it! Thankfully noone hurt just very shocked.
Good control of your spending Ikea, Asda and Tesco all good at prising money out of people.:j0
