    Will you lot stop it about marmalade! I keep putting it on the shopping list and DrDragon keeps forgetting to get it! (this means brekkie turns into a slice of cheese {about an ounce} and an apple - healthy BUT NOT THE SAME!!)

    The problem is BOB he does the shopping (being disabled I am not able to), about the only thing I get is his contact lens stuff from Boots when I am down in town having my acupuncture and I would not forget that! (even if he has occasionally :rotfl:), the local shop opens again on Saturday so from then on I can get marmalade again :T

    Evening all! Dragon I'm sorry but shop bought just aint the same as home-made! Have you ever tried making it? Time consuming but yummyliscious compared to shop stuff! Bb have you gota recipe for lemon marmalade? The one I make is lemon, orange & ginger & its delicious! Let me know if you'd like the recipe...
    Back from work which was full of meetings and catching up on emails and realising that I'd not done things, as ever!! One day I'll do sommat right! Was a BAD DFW & got wine & fags on the way home...I know, I know...money down the drain which isnt good with such a ridiculously (actually impossible!!) month but there we go! Its done & being hinest I dont feel that guilty although know I should!
    Had good sleep last night but nitol do wipe me out the next day!! This eve just chilling. Put 2 jackets in the oven & will have one for tea tomorrow zapped. Trying to be more innovative & cheap with food as find I got into a bit of a rut so gone back to old faves like spagetti hoops on toast etc!! ooo buzzer gone off so off to have yummy pot with cheese! Back in a bit!
    Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Even in the darkest moments, love and hope are always possible.

    Hi ISOM due to the fact that I cannot stand - I cannot make marmalade! So Roses or Oxford Marmalade it is *sigh*

    ooo sorry to hear that dragon - if it didnt cost so much in postage I'd offer to post you a pot but I know from doing that to my mum that it cost £8 to send which makes posting it a tad expensive for a DFW! Well done on your weight loss BTW!! Excellent!

    Dragon - I think some breadmakers can make jam/marmalade too. Might that be an more accessable option for you?

    Gosh Dragon, i was unaware of the extent of your physical disabilities..you are one plucky lady. If i am in Cambridge, then copious jars of marmalade will be winging your way.
    Thanks for offer of recipe, will have a look in recipe stores to see if i have one to return back. My neighbour is also a Marmalade fiend, but i find it very useful to bribe her with in order to look after house when we are away. In return i look after her house and recieve a bottle of wine. Fair exchange i would say.
    ISOM, sometimes if it is what you need, then it is what you need...I very rarely need a drink,( except tea, would slit throats if couldn't get a cup) but some days you've just got too!
