  • What can I say if it aint one thing...threw up this am and felt very green the rest of the day! Managed (nervously!!) to go to bristol to swap pressies with sister and cousin. Opened one from cousin that she made which is gorgeous - impossible to explain but will photog it when its up. Suffice to say its one of the most precious pressies ever and I love it! Basically its a book, folded (must take hours!!) with a bible verse I love - about how God has each of our names engraved on his hand...very personal to me but I love it because at the rough times (ie last week) it reminds me that to the most important one I am special and know love beyond measure which does keep me going at times... Anywat nice cuppa with sister having got v lost! Then lunch with cousin and a bit of bead shopping (ok alot but there yummy!!), decorating her tree and home via john lewis...having an early night and have cancelled babysitting tomorrow as still feeling very sick...

  • hi there..still a bit ropey but prob the stress of the last couple of weeks and rushing here there and everywhere! Mr T shop was 186+ which was stunning and proof that you should not shop when hungry!! Mind you almost passed out half way round and I had to buy and eat a sandwich and pay when got to till - also qued to que which was mad! Thankfully pretty much done now except for cat litter and cava which I'll get tomorrow night! Rash still on arm and think its the tree but unsure..alfie been going extra loopy and flat looks like a bomb hit twice....havent done my sums yet but will tomorrow night...want to wait for shop, petrol etc to go through before paying...will be tight but thankfully didnt go mad over pressies and most were home made...still a couple to do though!

Gosh..hope you feel better soon.Think you could do with a rest...you sound a bit run down.Perhaps it would be wise to have a check up at DRs blood pressure/diabetes etc.
  • aww thanks taxi - last few months have admittedly been tough and had caught up on me. Have just done the sums and this month will be tight plus realise that I really must nuckle down with teh cc's and stop faffing. Still paid more off this month although car tax is due...will do 6 months worth and it will eat into o/d....I hope to have erased Christmas by feb in money sense. Thankfully all shopping done, pressies wrapped and the only jobs are a tidy, hoover and pop into see a friend with mum tomorrow. Feeling quite relaxed now! Have seen the gp and am ok taxi - this bug had just knocked me, and a fe gazllion others for six! We've got a lovely relaxed christmas planned with a facial, massage and reflexology to look forward to in Jan!
