All well here - lunch out with the team which was nice and got some new trogs from asda...did very well - pj's, 2 cardis, skirt, bra and nicks for under 50 so happy with that!

sounds like a bargain shopping trip.
we're still without a sink, but have lots more tiles and the sparky should get the shower electricised (ok not a real word but you know what i mean)tomorrow. Builder says that it should be finished by the end of thursday which will be fab.
i'm so cold it's freezing here, the storage heaters are worse than usual and we're out of calor gas and the elec. oil filled one just isn't cutting through it. but i shouldn't moan at least we have walls around us there's many who don't.
I've got a weekend on my own again - OH is working, so i've got some chrissy shopping lined up, and probably more decorating and tidying. It's going to be so much easier to do when the building work is finished and i feel happier about the flat.
sorry for the moan, guess i'm just tired and headachy and fed up of the mess, cold and work.

Sorry you are having a downer LT..it always seems worse when everything isn't working how you would like it too..very frustrating. It will be worth it in the long run..

aww hugs lt...its awful when home is a complete (ie more than normal) tip isnt it. this am forgot to turn heating on which meant hot water not working (they have 2 to both me on to work!) so freezing shower...it will be worth it in the end...am v. chuffed with my new bathroom! 200 more than anticipated but well worth it! hang in there...you'll see what I mean next week! For the first time since I moved in 10trs ago I have a light shade in the bathroom!! impressive..plus it was cheap! keep us posted!

we hit an all time low in the bedroom last night 10.2 C no wonder we were both so cold. OH has taken to wearing thermals in bed so i guess the honeymoon is over lol! I'm in a bit better frame of mind today but i guess that's because it's warmer at work.

well lt saving on the bills perhas? Hang in there ...it will get better soon. Ok so thermals not romantic but possibly nice to have normal life!!
Busy day in w today and going to London for training tom. I popped in to see my friend and baby and all is looking much better and she was even able o have some time alone today which is excellent progress and I'm really chuffed. Babay b still thriving and has grown in the last week. We had a wee chat and smile and then he promptly fell asleep on me!
Feeling quite fluey again so have taken echaniacia, nitol and hope to be in bed by 9 in readyness for getting the train at stupid o clock....

i won't say i'm cold again, it's best to take that as read! and i can understand OH wearing thermals.
the builder will be back on monday, i've got a few issues with it and he'll finish on monday but he won't be getting paid till he's sorted out the problems.
On the good side though it's looking quite good and will be great in the end. I have some decorating and sorting to do over the weekend though. Think i'll sort the airing cupboard for towels to go to the vets, they are always grateful for them and we got some new ones with wedding money.

Had my days tranng in London yesterday...smelly unfriendly city it is. Lovely to get home esp as have got a stinking cold so was feeling really rough. Really pleased I took the day off today. Have got a haircut and thats it. Was meant to see my lady for my age concern volunteering but felt it unwise being poorly!! So all I have to do today is hoover (flat is under the minging category) do the washing, have my hair cut and then nowt! Tomorrow I go to see my girls for 24 hours - lots of pink nails and beading to go!!
