aww taxi youre a sweetie! I do feel that I've turned a bit of a corner re the shopping tbh...just dont enjoy it like I used to so hopefully will make real inroads this year...Minister and wife just left after a lovely relaxed meal and chat - told them about my debts and he was very encouraging and supportive which is lovely - also wanted him to know in case someone in church was struggling with debts - one area that I can help in! I always feel its better to be open about these things rather than hiding away in shame and hopefully it can help someone else in the long run. Anyway it was lovely to have them and get to know them a bit better.
Hoping to get the last of my shopping done tomorrow eve (presents for the girls) and then the wrapping begins. Am getting a small tree I have decided as it just feels wrong not to have one at all and I cant stand a fake tree.

Sounds like you've had a lovely evening.We haven't got a tree as I gave mine to DD as she hadn't got one and I think it's more important that she hasd one for DGS..I also gave her all my decorations.

Just popping in. Had a busy week with lots more to come. In work tom then off Friday when I'll sort house out, wrap presents ets and then on Sat off to Bristol for the day..babysitting sun night and then w*** until christmas eve..Am ok bit been a busy week and will be pleased when that manic phase goes...

Good!! Still not done tree but other things to contend with. Will have a nice late lunch/tea with my friend and baby tom pm...must wrap her pressie!!

All plans went a bit t+++ up but met freiend, had frantic shop, meeting and then got the last miute pressies...now need to catch up and make a pressie and wrap em for trip to brizzol tom to see cousin, sister and drop pressie off for friend - didnt get time today and was all a bit fratic. Did get lovely baby smiles though - he's sooooo long and grown out of the latest clothes!! Little bean he is! Even better mum is doing so much better and will be going home to her M&D for Christmas....all good! After a very difficult week feel I can at least breathe...pff to make pressies will catch up soon!
