Have had a good afternoon with slight snooze, cleaned bob and gave him a trim as he was getting matted as very long hair at the back hard to reach and micha also nice and clean. Ready for work tomorrow so earlish night!! Book group tomorrow night (lisa see - snow flower) which I finished tearfully in bed this afternoon!

well bob you could always make them for pressies? Got good fillers from the dunelm shop for 2.99 for duck but cheaper for synthetic...
day at work but was so shattered by 2.30 that I came home early and slept for 2 hours...still able to have a bit of a phased back to work which is v. handy...then made jam and marmalade and had a sandwic. got the weeks wrong for book group -doh - its next week!! Tomorrow is patchwork so must go and finsih my wee bit of homework from last week. Also want to have a bit of fabric cut but hard when you dont know ahead what you'll be making...have organised my workbox and labelled all my stuff as could see it being borrowed and sewing scissors are v.expensive!!

Afternoon all...after much umming and ahhing have decided to make my girls (my two godchildren) a lap quilt for Christmas/birthday pressies...got the fabric (a jelly roll for those in the know) for the youngest and will do a simular style but more grown up version for the oldest...have deliberately chosen fabrics that will stand the test of time and hopefully be much loved snuggle in front of the tv before bed/when ill for many years to come - a hug from me whenever they need it!! Came into sitting room to discover that the supa dupa intelligent cats have managed to get my sewing box open (goodness knows how!) and empty the contents aound the sitting room...
Back from work and off to home group in a mo after doing the litter trays etc...life of excitement here!! Weather is more than a lttle chageable - sunny one minute and chucking it down the next - whats a girl to wear eh!!

Oh I'd love a lap quilt. The girls will be so lucky. LOLat the cats they are clever creatures although mine is in my bad books for waking me up before 6 this morning!
