Happy birthday to me...thanks all for lovely messages. Just back from weezls where I had a yummy meal and now stuffed! All of us fairly shattered - lovely to get out but pain is exhausting but did manage to have a relaxed day. A friend came for coffee, then had a snooze and read and another friend came for tea...all of whom sampled the lemon cake and approved (see weezl's thread for recipe) which was good. Made a wee cake for weezls to say ta for what I knew would be a lovely dinner and then slept and got ready before being picked up by Mr Weezl...lovely eve of chat, good food and company and now chilling before bed. All in all a lovely birthday. Some lovely pressies - 3 necklaces, dressmaking scissors, lovely scissors with bird in the handle, more flowers than I have valses for and a book. Next year is the big 40 and bob saw fit to bite me for my birthday pressie - my fault cos I havent said hello/stroked him daily so he's been territorial about his cage so must make more of an effort...finger hurts though as he realy does bite hard and deep!

Bad bob..they do have big teeth for surprisingly small animals..
Glad you had a good time otherwise and it seems you have got some lovely pressies...i would wave scissors in front of bob and threaten a pair of slippers if he does it again:rotfl: :rotfl:

Too right KP! Have decided on a challenge - from today to payday on 20th spend no more than 100 (not incl petrol) for all else..should be doable and stop the unnecessary spends and focus the mind! Plus leave me extra to pay cc's with!!
Had a lie in and nice brekkie in bed and popped to shops but came back n quite a bit of pan - ok there but too much on way back...will try and start finising the pay mat this pm as concious baby s due plus I have 3 projects on the go at the moment and none getting finished! Will also get bob out for play at some stage..
