 Hey sweetie, just checking in to see how you are...

And not to be a nag my love but please do take it ever so easy even if it's dull!

Thank goodness for CDWM huh? Great timing! I haven't seen one yet but I've taped them and will probably get to watch when everybody else is back at school / work etc.

I'm glad you had a lovely birthday. It's the big 40 for me next year as well - a couple of months before you - you youngster! :D

I'm having a couple of days off to get back into the swing of packed lunches and gym kits and regular breakfast times etc and I'm completely shagged out cos I haven't stopped today!

So I'm going to eat some of my "Failure cake" from last night (all the sultanas sunk to the bottom and it came out more like bread pud than cake!) and catch up with posts.

    Hope you're feeling better hon,

    Love Jacks xxx :D

PS Ooh Lemon Tree how blimmin' annoying!!!

Hi ISOM..glad you are a bit brighter this afternoon and still rest please(I'm a real nag)
  • Afternoon all....have been potterig and slept til 10am which was blissful...theres a far amount of pain in the sttches and suspect they are getting to the tight stage...owww. Taking t easy and tomorrow will get the bus into town and get mum birthday card & pressie...decided that I will do the cusion for christmas and doubt that I will make it there for her 70th on monday as cant see how I will be able to sit for that long and still dont feel confident to drive so soon after stitches come out but will make up for it by taking her on a day out...
other than that have made prune cake (see weezls thread) which is yummy. also dahl and saag aloo with coconut rice. No news from friend I text re allotment so will keep fingers crossed. Am worred at how overgrown it is...not much I can do at the mo anyway...this pm will tidy a bit and thats it. Hopefully a neighbor will take in some of my rubbish as hate to leave it in the hall...eugh! Money wise doing well...havent spent this week (did get telephones at w/e but 60 off!) so happy with that!

  • Can you bribe AM to help out at the allotment as well? Every little helps, as they say. Hope healing process continues smoothly and you are taking it easy! x
