Morning all...great nights sleep so feeling less buzzy than I was yesterday but still feel like the week has caught up on me...not going to leave the house today but will tidy, make bread and do more of my baby quilt...must also hunt out the patterns so you can see what I'm doing! Tried out my new rotary cutter (fiskars) and its sooo sharp! Literally touched it & slices my finger...blood everywhere & dripping all over the place which isnt god with pastel colored fabrics about!! Catching up on you all slowly!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Even in the darkest moments, love and hope are always possible.0

I am pretty much decided that I will get teh cheaper fabric.I love the liberty one but its slightly see through so on both practical & cheapie level the other wins!
Bread is made, fabric cut, 3 lunches cooked and now going to snooze. I have another migraine which I suspect was wine! Will finally get to have a play with my new machine this afternoon!! Need to suss how to put a 1/4 foot on...I loathe instruction manuals but will be good and read it rather than my usual impatient experementation!!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Hi, hope you are feeling better today..sounds like you have been very busy, with life and new machine! Look forward to seeing what you make with it all. I popped into a cath kitson shop in St.Ives, cant say i was very impressed with the prices and the designs of things though!
Catch up with you later.xBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

evening all! welcom eback bob!yup was a ridiculously busy week last week and left me feeling shattered & needing space which thankfully I got yesterday. Quilt is coming on but am waiting for knowledgable friend before putting it all togeather as dont want to muck it up! Its not perfect but not bad for a first attempt so far...
Just back from fat club and put on 2ibs so time to stop faffing about and get into it...a waste of money otherwise. Having said that two meals out this week...Not much news otherwise!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Even in the darkest moments, love and hope are always possible.0 -

oo do you do it bob? (quilting!) Must stitch the one for mums cushion as its by hand (& I cant do 160 stitches per min!) but I know she will love it. Was also surprised by how quickly I managed to run it up once the cutting done...suspect that may be hy people are so in love with fat quarters because its all cut for you? Plus really looking forward to eve class in sept! No debt busting, just fun! realised that I have been feeling debt busting exhausted & rebelled against it of late but now back on track...compromise and a bit of fun was needed!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! I used to make quilts a while ago ..nothing fancy, just bits. I enjoyed it but never had the time in the past few years.
I agree about debt busting, sometimes you have just got to let go a little.. i will have to get back on track myself..although i budgeted for hols..really need to get my stuff paid off and then move house.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

It's so hard to come up with the right balance for debtbusting and having a life....so can go with why you rebelled a little..lol0
