Morning kp. will def be having a snooze and have nice clean sheets. Will have a blissful afternoon chilling this afternoon with my book. (Jeffrey deavers latest from the library - its v. good!). Weekend has stuff in it but there is chill time in there too plus will only work 3 days next week; thurs I have taken off to clean house and get ready for the op, Fri am is the op and will stay in, hopefully only overnight, and then home to recover. My mummy is coming to look after me on Thurs.
This am finished the cake which I dread to think how many cals there are - 3 pats of buter, 2 of sugar plus a whole pack of icing sugar!! Its not perfect but its a nice enough one - will post piccie later. Had a nice brekkie in bed then went to get my fabric for the kimono which was slightly cheaper than the one I was thinking of - its black and white and more japanise than the one I originally thought if. Thn popped to sains to get small pressie for tonight and now catching up with you lot with the heating on - its wet & yuccy here! This afternoon will do face pack '& nails and have a snooze...bliss and yes, kp essential at weekends! Just back from dinner wich was lovely but almost had a fit when I worked out it was £45 each - two bottles of wine, lovely indian foot & the cake for pud...went down very well and she was very pleased with it so all good!! Back to major debt busting now though as spent way too much in the last two months...just watching crap tv and intend to have a nice lie in & brekkie in bed tomorrow with me book. Was meant to be going out for a meal with my mate but thnk I'll get her here & cook a meal instead - infinately cheaper plus she's very pregnant (the one I am making the baby quilt for) so will be more comfy for her too!! Thought of you on the way home taxi - mad taxi driver who drove like a lunatic - reminded him of speed limit as he was doing 45+ and asked him how many crashes he has a year!! idiot...Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! What an idiot, glad you got back safe from a great evening.
How about working in the planned extra treats such as special birthdays into your monthly budget each month so you know whats coming up? Apologies if you already do this.
Hope today is nice a restful. I want to spend the whole day watching the Olympics but after yesterday marathom headache I need to get that studying done. Might try to do a bitof both.:j0 -
Morning! re the planning treats in I never have as that way I pay the max off and can get stressy with the treats and hopefully keep on track better IYKWIM! I have realised that I have a definate tendency to rebel against a specific target (GB being a classic, and disasterous example - I spent doube what I normally would!) and am much better just dong it day to day. Havent been organised of late which is why its all gone awry but hope to get my act togeather...suspect that this months totals will annoy me into it!
Had a lovely surprise this am when my friend who moved to new zealand rang. Havent chatted for a while and bizzarly we were only talking about them last night! Had a lovely catch up and apparently its rainig alot there too! All sounds very relaxed...
Today I plan to start the dressing gown, do litter trays and generally chill. Was going to do a hospital visit but could do with some quiet time and house looking rather messy...need to get it sorted before the op and weather isnt great so will go to the allotment one eve or on thurs...will be sodden today because its rained so much....Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Hope you manage to chill out today.Luckily for my customers I don't speed and won't speed even if they are late as it's their problem for not phoning on time.Is it friday you have your op?0
-
hi taxi - yes its Friday but I go in early and hopefully only stay overnight...just cut the fabric for the kimono - what a faff! Definately didnt pick the easiest thing to start with plus could do with a bigger house as not enough floor space to lay the pattern out!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -
