well part of my Next sale order arrived today. a few things are keepers, a few need to go back. will give it a day before I take them back to shop, after seeing the scrum at a Next store on TV. I prefer to use shop for returns, bit wary about not getting credited properly otherwise. one item is missing too...

today weather is pretty grim so not sure what I'll get up to. going to see Joseph tonight so looking forward to that.

hope everyone is feeling better soon and sorry to hear about your auntie Kyle.

Kyle, I'm really sorry to hear about your great aunt and I hope your ds is better today.

I've been to Asda this morning to do my weekly shop, it was really quiet which was lovely. The WM is on, and as a treat to ourselves, so is the DW.

I hope your christmas dinner goes well Kethry and nothing else falls off your walls.

Im just about to pop off to the PO and pay few bills, then town to pay the rest of the bills in the bank! I was hoping to pop into the council & pay the rent, but I dont think they're open, it'll have to wait until sat now!

DS layed up on the settee! Feel awfull dragging him out!

Not looking forward to work tomorrow, having to do a full day, to compensate having 2 extra days off over the holidays!

Will be getting the packaging/boxes down from the loft later, hope to get the decs down for the wk end! and then have a really good clean!

Morning all!

Back from my parents now and although I'm relaxed, I have a million and one things to do! Today I'll be deep cleaning the bathroom, or at least having it very sparkly! Tomorrow I'll pop out for a few food bits, and then next week it's an online shop before I go back to work, so will stock up and bulk cook next Saturday. Got some decorating to do, so as well as food, I'll be picking up more paintbrushes, roller pads etc, woo hoo.

This morning I'll be choosing some things to buy with my Christmas money-I was going to buy a dehumidifyer or a new shower with the money I got, but I've been told I have to buy something for myself, so I'm going to buy a few books and a magnetic note pad to stick on the fridge, so my lists are always there.

I'm sending heaps of hugs to those who need/want, esp Kyle and Twink.

Morning all. Dull cold and windy today. I was going to pop into town and have a look at Woolworths sale but got bit of a headache (too many choccies last night) so I'll go another day. It's only a small town, Woolworths is the only 'store' as such that we've got -still, another day maybe............not tomorrow.............got to go to the dentist for emergency treatment on my two front teeth................they're capped and before christmas they broke at the back. I got an emergency filling kit just in case, but haven't needed it..........but not looking forward to going at all............bit of a pain on the bank balance. I know whatever they do tomorrow will be temporary and I'll have several more expensive appointments .........they really need to be re-done................ouch !! :mad: The very thought !

Had a good tidy up this morning, weather good so got washing out on the line for once! more in the machine.
Need to give fridges a good clean and tidy and do some menu planning as I've been slipping lately. Also got a cheque to pay into bank later. Then need to see if we can get rid of DS1s first car at the scrapyard.Car number 2 already gone. His Nan bought him a bike for christmas so he can cycle to work from his lodgings.

DH waiting for PC so better go.

Well, kind of back to normal today, going to my parents.

Have a load of washing on, had a shower and just about to tidy the kitchen.

I added all the things I would like to my basket at Lakeland. It came to almost £300 _pale_ - tht's just from the sale! A lot of it would be Xmas presents for the next 10 years as well

Will be back at work tomorrow - don't really celebrate New Year, so I don't mind working through it.

Hello everyone!!:hello: Hope everyone had a good couple of days!

I tried to post yesterday but it got lost! Kids were in a frenzy and woke up at 5.40am xmas day!!!!! Got some lovely Molton Brown gift sets from DS1 this year, very lovely but I know how expensive it is!!:eek: bless him!

I drove past NEXT this morning and there was a long queue and then loads of police turned up!!!! so I drove straight past:rotfl: stuff that for a laugh!!!
Only wanted to look at mens suits for DS1, looked online but there's not many sizes left , so well done those who managed to get anything.

Asda was nice and quiet though so got the bread and milk and looked for some crackers/paper bargains but they didnt have much at all - they didnt have as much stock this year, suppose they dont like getting stuck with it all afterwards Got some in Sainsburys though - plus they had loads of ladies clothes bargains! but I resisted:D

My neighbour has just given me some more pringles/cream/dates/sweets she's trying to get rid of!:rotfl: they are trying to sabotage all my good gym work this year!!

Got a bargain HDrive recorder in maplins this year for £40!! Its soo easy now instead of the usual set start/fin times on the dvd recorder BLISS!!:D - so ive got loads recorded to watch properly at some point!!

Nice to see some old familiar faces posting today!

Well............ morning all.....((((((((((((((HUGS))))))))))))) if you need them....especially Kyle, so sorry to hear your news.

Christmas has been and gone for another year...............this afternoon, the deccies will go back in their box and into the attic for another year..........

Yesterday was a quiet day, managed to do the ironing, did some sewing whilst Carmen was on TV and then after a cold meat and salad supper we watched the best of Dibley.............and then went to bed. OH sat up in the middle of the night, unwrapped a cough sweet and lay down on his back and went to sleep!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! needless to say I was awake waiting for him to choke on the sweet............eventually I got fed up with him wriggling, and woke him up to turn over, panic finished, we both went back to sleep and I did not surface until 10.30am. So am feeling a little better. Really finding coping with broken nights a strain just now. If I could just get a couple of decent nights it would help. Thankfully he has a Drs appointment next week, I am going to go with him and see if we can get to the bottom of this cough.

A nice bright morning, just the morning to hang the washing out, except a) I have no washing and b) we no longer have a garden.

We seem to have settled well into here, there are some things I miss, like the garden, but on the whole its turned out better than I thought it would. I was afraid that being on a major route into the City would mean the traffic would disturb me, but so far its been fine, even in the summer with the windows open...........space is limited, but we are coping with that and one bonus, I can clean through in just over an hour..............so there are compensations.

Right thats it for now, cuppa has just appeared at my side, when I have drunk it will have an audit of the freezer, see how long we can go without going to the dreaded Mr T's..............apparently its manic up there this morning again, what people do with all that food is beyond me...........
