I want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?
  • Yes indeed Chev! I will not mention him again! except to call him names. really long rude names.

I haven't done very much today. I stayed up wwwwwwwway too late last night and slept in till 11!!! unheard of for me.

I cooked Mum lunch and did my bank stuff, had a credit scare and thought I was being defrauded but then realised I was stupid:o

and then I awakened my Quidco account v scary did the payday loan cash back.

Overall the weekend hasn't been too bad I guess. bit nervous about tomorrow lots of furniture is arriving. I must e mail the freecycle guy. and charge up the screwdriver. Just writing that makes me sleepy!

My naughty furniture came today nice and early from Argos. :o:o

So I think I should make a list here. cos otherwise I will never tackle it all. There are four pieces!!1:eek:     and just little old me! and an electricial screwdriver.

    1. do 27 fling
    2. condense (which is a fancy way of saying chuck away) the animal accessories in to two boxes not four.
    3. measure the box thing and put in conservatory
    4. dismantle old desk and put in shed
    5. get fans out of shed
    6. scream about spiders
    7. moan about shed contents.
    8. fall over at least once.
    9. make new chest of drawers.
    10. empty old chest of drawers
    11. e mail freecycle bloke
    12. put away clothes whilst filling charity bag)
    13. maybe make bookshelf thing if time.
    14. clean out hamsters.

    wish me luck!

  • Ohh dead ratus - can't you getthe council rat man to do this? we had one in our garden once - he drives up in a plain white van, i go to the door, he says "council" and shiftily shows me a badge to which I just exclaim "ah the rat man, come in!". He laughed and said he knew at that point I was a born and bred from my area as most people "drag him in and shut the door!". We are one of the few places who have black rats on the meadows at the back (which goes down to the River Mersey). I hope you did not pick it up by it's tail - very infectious......

Know what you mean about sheds - the one at our other house as "stuff" in it and the garage here - well, let's just not go there.

Back to work tomorrow - was in bed all yesteday and all today with this damn bowel/back thing - sooner they go back in and sort it out the better. No doubt I will have sarky comments from my manager - the way I'm feeling at the moment the phrase would be......... (please feel free to fill in a phrase :rotfl: ). At my meeting last week they rattled on about "dismissal due to ill health" the union rep was straight onto that like a small child on a packet of chocolate. And to say that to somebody who's having urgent brain and body scans .......... i am lost for words and from a cancer hospital as well to a secretary who deals with people with brain tumours all day.....
But I'm going to say this once, and once only, Gene. Stay out of Camberwick Green :D
  • I er picked it up with a trowel. It wasn't my finest moment, dear God in Heaven it smelt utterly foul.

I am sorry you have to go to back to work, my place can be a bit like that, the minute you are off you have to had a doctors note. I have had migraines for ever but suddenly this year it was a huge problem and I was on a "list". I went in with the migraine every time and was sent home. Bosses are foul. I cannot believe yours, surely if you work in a bloody hospital and are ill they understand what is going on. how freaking dare they. I am so sorry Rage, no wonder you want the hell out.

  • The bloke turned out to be a really lovely woman, I have used freecylce twice and met such good people its great!

And it felt really good to get rid of that furniture, one bit was something that bloke I am not supposed to talk about anymore was supposed to put to gether for me but I never asked him and got all silly about him not reading my mind and the second piece was a bit he did put together for me (I asked!) and well he has gone and they have gone too. AND I am making my new furniture!

I cleaned out everyone tonight liking the new cage set up the new furniture is a good idea!

Tomorrow I am going away to see my friend's new house! am very excited. she had a lovely house here and I do miss her but I bet her new house is gorgeous!! and she has a gorgeous baby too.

I am coming back on Friday - must collect Avon books and get to the post office and go to a Wedding - well thats saturday, plus I want to finish off the furniture. busy busy but actually I like it.
