Hugs Toni'sfriend and Beanie. Your frustration is quite understandable Beanie, please don't apologise.
Sunday was another plodding day, up and down the yard with washing and stuff for the bins. When I was in the yard with nothing in my arms, I had a five minute sit down in the sunshine and when I was in the front room, I sat to rest as well.
Yesterday it was lunch time before I got my knees to work so I set up camp on the couch, ate my lunch, did a rubbish round up and broke a messy cardboard box without moving off the couch (used a walking stick to root things out and bring them closer). More washing in and out and washing up too. DS3 came downstairs late afternoon, already fully dressed and we went to get the mattresses and broken bed out (He wanted to go in the morning before he went to bed, but my knees wouldn't have it). He did most of the work, I just dragged things to the door but the 3rd mattress flipped me and I ended up on my knees. I started to get up on the radiator then remembered mum's coming off the wall so went to the bottom of thee stairs to get up.
Came straight upstairs when we got back. No idea if my knees and other bits will work today but at some point I need to go back and pick up the covers, once the mattresses have been collected. I really need to contact the waste wizards - I was dreaming about going through the piles of stuff there.
Grateful for getting the mattresses sorted quickly and easily (DS3 is a great mattress wrangler but he complained because these ones didn't have handles), for 2 children who came to help, for getting a lot done despite my protesting body, having a whole swathe of the front room floor visible.12 -
Hope you are ok today @grandmanerdSending love @beanielou, take care xxStill NSD #3 as it was shopping day today. Now done. Freezer tetris needed, then I am hoping the weather perks up a bit as it was forecast to do. It is currently dull with raindrops dripping off the little trees in the garden. I have my brother's washing to put out (hopefully) and would like to move some pots in the garden, and maybe tackle the remaining strawberry plants.

Hugs @beanielou hope you feel more positive soon. The days are getting longer, mornings are light already, and there is a visible vglowing ball of radiation in the sky 'round these parts. The quality of light has shifted to a yellower colour from the bluish tone of Winter. It's on its way....Which means the washing line will be the primary means of drying clothes from now on. I don't mind giving them 15 minutes in the dryer when they come in off the line, rather than the 90 minutes they have taken all Winter long.Cleaned the top floor in readiness for Mr Carpet Measurer this morning. Then glossed the stairs again this afternoon. 2 carpets will go down on Thursday morning. Another job off the list.Going to move on to DS3s bedroom decoration tomorrow while he is at school. DH is off to Swissland early tomorrow morning, so I am flying solo and I am going to have to pretend to be a responsible adult until Sunday (boo!).NSD3, all food from stores - pesto pasta and garlic peppers for supper, and am going to tidy an enormous bramley apple into an apple and micemeat crumble for pudding.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Hugs Tonis friend - hope your next op goes better.
Congrats on bonus, lcc, I just got interest of my ISA and I immediately rounded it up to a nice even amount.
Today I have thrown out a few bits. 3 broken laptops, felt a bit harsh as 2 of them had apples on them!
Half filled the car with money from deranged change lying about for decades. Turned out there was a lot of coins from all over the world. Is it possible to donate coins to charities, it feels a bit wring to chuck them after the laptops into scrap metal!
Ds2 is coming home tonight to check in on me - which will be nice, I suspect he also wants to get fed, he is a university student after all. I am still incredibly tired, had a call from a mental health organisation today, and it makes me upset every time. I hope they don't put me on a waiting list that is too long.
When I got hack from shopping with ds1 a little while ago, I went for a walk with the dog and saw a beautiful and very green willow tree. Springtime is in the air, and I do love that.

((Hugs)) ditty1234I wore myself out moving heavy pots around in the garden this afternoon - I quite forgot I am not as young as I used to be!Moved the blueberry in its heavy clay pot, as it was getting snagged on one of the strawberry hanging baskets. Then moved the fig in its big, but lighter plastic pot.Moved lots of other things as well. There are still more things to move, and another strawberry hanging basket to plant up - I have the basket, compost and plants.I also planted up an old strawberry planter that I had bought to sell on, but didn't as it has a few chips. Still perfectly usable though. I was experimenting with bricks and piles of stepping stone thingies to raise it up off the ground, then noticed a metal stand / pedestal thing that we had been using / not using as a sort of garden coffee table. Put it in place, strawberry planter on top and it looks perfect!Brother's washing got dry on the line eventually, though it was raining and the sun was shining both together at one stage
Now finishing off on the airer.
Grateful for getting some things done, and time in the garden10 -
Oxfam used to take any change you had from other countries.

Well done to those that are achieving, & hugs to @ditty1234.
NSD#3
Felt a bit livelier when I got up today. Chopped lots of veg & made s stir-fry for today & tomorrow's dinners. Work went fine today & I was feeling a bit more positive about things.
Dashed to town afterwards to drop sewing off & collect DH from his specialist"s appointment at the hospital. We then went to mum's, DH disconnected her cooker & we carried it downstairs & into the car, ready to take to the dump tomorrow before work.
Sat sewing after tea, & a bit longer than I normally do, but got the second memory bear stitched together, so both ready for stuffing now.
Grateful for the specialist keeping an eye on DH & tweaking his medication, so he doesn't end up in hospital again for a month +, being in a better mood, DS3 hearing back about work experienceUse it up, wear it out
Make do or do without!
If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours 😃

Thinking of you @Toni'sfriend and hoping another op won't be needed, fingers crossed and big hugs to you xx
Oh dear @beanielou, so sorry you are feeling out of sorts, I hope it will pass soon. Any chance family and/or friends and neighbours can give you a hand with some of the jobs around the house? It sounds as if it's going to be a big and expensive job with the garden, do you get to sit out there usually? Would a few planted pots help to lift the gloom out there this year? Are there any charitable organisations near you that might be able to help? Sincerely hope you will feel better soon. Take good care of yourself, big hugs to you xx

DD2 was referred by our GP to the urgent medical care department at our local hospital yesterday afternoon after her adrenal insufficiency condition started to get a bit out of control again. Having had a nasty virus recently the doctor we saw recommended DD's current dosage of steroids needed to be raised.
The doctors and nurses we saw were so kind and caring towards DD, and I feel so grateful for the wonderful treatment she received from them all. DD should start to feel much better by tomorrow which will be a big relief!
Luckily I had petrol in the car already, so gained another NSD.
Other gratitudes to my brother who went to see stepmum without me and delivered freshly laundered clothes to her and a few other goodies. For news from the hospital that she should be able to come home very shortly9
