Get dressed ✅
Feed the birds ✅
Put out the recycling ✅
WUDUPA ✅
Clear the airer- FUPA - all FU, will PA next time I go upstairs
Give bedding an extra spin ✅
Peg out ✅
Wash bath mats - swishing now
I've opened the window in my bedroom and the bathroom to let in some (very) fresh air. And left all the doors open upstairs to let it circulate a little.
I'm having a coffee then I'm going to mop the bathroom floor. Ooops Did you all faint? I blame Fayolle for this. Mopping! I'll be cleaning windows next .... actually that's not a bad idea. Oh my. I need to lie down in a darkened room until this urge passes. Or embrace the fact that the real me is peeping out as I never used to live in a hovel. I'll be buying a straw hat, Laura Ashley long floaty dress, and a trug next....the new (old) Round emerging 😊 - just a few more stones to shift before I buy new clothes. Hmmm. Does one's head shrink when you lose weight? I could maybe buy the straw hat. And the trug. Have you seen the price of trugs?
Round 2
Peg out bath mats
Take FU washing upstairs
Mop bathroom floor

However. The corner of the kitchen floor where I had a practice mop looks much better. (But highlights that I must pull out the cooker and hoover / mop in there now.) And the bathroom floor has much less dust on it. (But that highlights where else needs dusting in there.) Stoopid idea. Should have stuck with a mop and bucket...at least I know there's water in the bucket because I put it there.
Can you tell that bottom lip is out? No wonder I don't fly. It's too stressful! And everywhere stinks of lemon now....mutter, mumble, mutter, complain. That doesn't happen if you sit and read a book I'll have you know.
Ah well. Live and learn. Rome wasn't built in a day. How do you eat an elephant.... and similar soothing sayings. One step forward and two steps back but never mind.
Round 2 and a half
Take FU washing upstairs
Put on dry socks
Wash socks and old tea towels used to mop up spill
Lunch
Extra: remove Muttley head and replace with a smiley head (think Worzel Gummidge). Anyway I may be carp at mopping but I can speak Worzelese. Which I'd forgotten I could. Not much call for it round here to be honest.

Me again. DGD2 has just gone down for her nap so I've grabbed a couple of packs of crisps. Lots of playing, reading peppa pig and walking Poppet has been going on here.
Round - well done on the weight loss.Spend less now, work less later.8 -
Thank you Jazee xx
It's spitting with rain now so I've brought in my sheet and pillowcases to finish off on the radiators. I've left out the bath mats to take their chances.
Postie just brought the (estimated) leccy bill. I need to check the meter to see if it's near enough. Where do I look on tinternet to compare standing charges please? 🤔
Postie also brought the letter telling me how much my rent is going up in April. Going up nearly £9 a week. And also from April I'll be on minimum wage...or .007p over to be exact. Minimum wage is going up to what I earn.
And breathe. Some serious budgeting needed. But I need the C Tax bill and Water bill to arrive before I can create an accurate budget.
If I aren't fed up. You know sometimes you're doing OK dealing with all the carp going on, and then all of a sudden 💥 . One letter can wake up the always lurking BD. Or maybe I'm just hungry? Not eaten yet today. And that's not good either. And unusual to say the least.
Cheer me up. Tell me good things. Pretty please.

Sunny again now. So I'm going to give my washing an extra spin and peg out for a couple of hours. Bedding can stay on radiators - which will be switched on later.
Decided to write out a quick guesstimate budget including things like TV licence, MOT, car insurance and car tax. Nearly gave myself a heart attack. Then realised that I'd added these annual costs in as monthly costs. Eejit that I am. Divided them by 10 as a guesstimate measure. It's tight but doable. Christmas is not cancelled 🙃
What an up and down day roller 🎢 .

And it's tipping down. Plan B it is then. Washing to go on airer after extra spin. Bath mats will be retrieved from the line at some point....and may need an extra spin before they go on the airer too.
0% of rain my backside! Who writes these things?

Round this might also help from Martin https://blog.moneysavingexpert.com/2023/07/martin-lewis--why-are-energy-standing-charges-so-high--what-can-/?_gl=1*1ah8znw*_ga*MjY2NzU3NTcwLjE2NTU2NTczMjI.*_ga_X74CWQS9F0*MTcwODk1ODc2NS43MDEuMS4xNzA4OTU4Nzg1LjQwLjAuMA..Sort of been walking, but getting blown into the middle of next week and it is a cold wind.Come home to another dead mouse.Washing that is dry is in, folded and away, just the thicker stuff to get in before it either rains or get dark.

Well done Round - that's a real achievement.Valli, I hope you're tummy is better soon and you can have a better night tonight. After getting up and ready and doing the first lot of eye drops I walked to the shops at the end of the road. I bought a pork chop and a veal steak for A's next two suppers (he won't finish either in one go so they will do for lunch the next day too). Also went to the greengrocer for a few bits, and to the deli. Bought the paper on the way home and then did more eye drops and made us a coffee.Made some leek and potato soup for lunch and whilst I was doing that the man from KiwkFit came to replace the tyre. Dealt with him (a very nice chap) and then made the rest of the lunch. Washed up and then cleaned the bathroom sink, mirrors and lav. Am currently bleaching the kitchen sink and washing-up pad.Hope everyone is having a good day.8
