Brew 2 savoured. Toast and marmalade devoured. Pops' plane is due to land at East Midlands Airport at 12.45. Athletics is on at 9.30 am and 6.30pm. They usually spend the first half hour waffling so I'll make a start.

Laundry shuffle 
Feed the birds 
Put out the recycling 
Check to see if waffling has ended

Morning all,
Wm run, clothes hung indoors but in the sun. Downstairs vacuumed at the speed of light. DD’s car scraped of ice and warmed up so that she could go out to meet an old school friend early doors. Yes, I know I spoil her, but…
Next jobs - clean kitchen sink, then into the greenhouse to check for any seed babies. DH wants to go out for dinner this evening. I am passive resisting, as cba. Plus the fridge is full of veg.

Just dailies will be done today and stuff necessary for DGD2s arrival later.  Poppet has already had a longish walk.

 I'm going to suggest either Sunday 24th March or Sunday 7th April for the York fly meet.

My timing was just about perfect. Only a couple of minutes waffling seen then the action started. 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️🏃

Pops is currently over France. The wonders of tinternet 😉

Odd job day here, done so far in no order:-

Hoovered out car

Marked up on the wall where I some pictures hanging, solid concrete wall, so I need to flutter my eye lids and the builders Monday morning, everythnig is ready, they just need to drill the holes I can do the rest.

Superglued various bits back on to various things, (cats, me knocking them)

Drained down the water butt, well opened the tap and let it get on with it. 

Dusted round again

Deep filled holes left by builders

Cleaned pictures, and checked the hanging wires

Shook out and folded by all the dust sheets, just one very very large piece of plastic sheet to do, it needs laying out on the drive to do it, the drive is wet, so it can wait.

WM x 1 done out on linw, but no wind, no sun, so of just doing nothing, but on the cold side, so I guess it will be out with the airer later on.

Do:-

Check bank / money shuffle

The dog, I walk to help out my NND, has sent a text (clever dog) inviting me to Sunday lunch for 3pm, so I have said yes, it saves me looking for some thing to eat, I also need to get smartened up, (non dusty, clean clothes, hair, make up)

After lunch I am driving the mother (90) home as I won't be drinking, (she is the mother / MIL of NND) so that is why I cleaned / tidied my car up, saves them getting a taxi for her, it is only 2 miles if that down the road. (my good deed for the day)

Hi all. Hope you're all well. @Cloth_of_Gold. Yes move in if you like, not much space, so you may have to sleep in the barn. But as I always cook enough to feed an army, you'd be well fed. 

A York meet up is a bit to far away for me, unfortunately. But I can be there in spirit. 

@Narc0lepsy, I'll leave the outdoor swimming to you, thank you. I even find the swimming baths too cold! 

DW done twice. Chilli made for tea. Chicken soup made and eaten for lunch. Worktops all wiped. Chilling now with a cup of coffee and parkin.

Had an impromptu visit from DS. Lovely surprise. He's taken a boxed games console away with him. That's a bit more LR floor unearthed 😊

OH has goen to dD1's to fix the door for the childrens bedroom.. and 3 girls went with him.. I have done 4 loads of washing.. towels and bedding out n the line.. they may dry they may not.. but they are not in the house getting smelly and making my house damp.

DW on its first run.. it needs another.

Small shop done for dinner for a couple of days and pack ups.. I Ihate shopping.

DS2 brought his washing down.. that is a miracle in itself.. it takes several washes to get his stuff clean.. he has learning difficulties and doesn't change his clothes as often as he should.. but he is 28 so I am limited in what I can do.

I have clean bedding.. always a joy to have.

I am going to sort a cupboard while I have no one hindering me. Hopefully I will find some bits to throw on V!nted and get some holiday spending money in.

I may need a nap.. my spoons are depleted.
