A Sunday York meet would be perfect for us.. can't do 10th/17th March .. but other than that I'm unoccupied!! Bear in mind Dot is WILD, Squeak doesn't speak and Twinkle doesn't stop. Pixie is pretty perfect.. and I growl.. and can turn people to stone with a look!

1 airer cleared and refilled.

TD's both emptied
WM on and second one filled with black stuff.. nt quite full yet though.
DW on its second run.. I found 2 oven shelves in the cupboard so washing those so I can use them.

Cupboard reshuffled because I need pan sace and the an cupboard has gradually filled with random stuff which is not a pan.. I put the green bags for the maggot bin in a box with binbags and sandwich bags and restacked everything.. it is much neater. I even went wild and wiped the 2 cupboards!
I rejiggled the under-sink cupboard and condensed the almost emty bottles.. one has a weird concoction of bicarb spray, disinfectant and elbow grease.. and is a gross murky colour.

Hob wiped

recycling bin filled and emptied twice.

lots of bread crusts binned and some empty bottles and jars and a used up yankee candle.. FLING!!!!

Oh piggers, but it is different. You've re-organised and tidied things and thrown things away and cleaned things. It soudns as if it;s not just different - it's transformed. And doing those things is really hard work and boring. I was busy too but the things I did were largely fairly enjoyable; what you did was bloomin' hard graft.

CoG.. I hate every aspect of cleaning.. I am somewhat of a hoarder as well which is disastrous! OH is going to help DD1 tomorrow so I am hoping I feel up to sorting another piece of house. It is exhausting, dirty and utterly boring.

Off to hang up some laundry..

I asked OH to buy cottage pies for me.. he got shepherds pies so I have nothing for dinner!

I agree - it's very boring and largely unfulfilling; but you've done it. Sorry about the pies.   I'm sending you a lovely (and very clean) spoon.

Yes I did.....made cup of tea when it looked bright but windy outside, had breakfast and it started raining. Went back to bed for half an hour and felt guilty so quickly sorted out swim gear (which includes a hot water bottle around which I wrap my knickers and T-shirt, then my fleece onesie - so when I change post-swim, I start off with a few warm bits). I got to the lake at about 9.35 and was only number 26, so not too many people had come. It rained as I was walking from the car park to the office but I was glad to see on the board that the temperature was 8 which is better than last week's 6.5.    However it didn't feel it.   It was a fairly nice swim but not much sun and no kingfishers about. Luckily it didn't rain as I changed (in the car park) but my hands were quite cold (despite having worn my swim mittens), which doesn't make undressing/dressing easy.    Anyone tempted yet?!!    I dropped into L!dl as usual on the way home for a paper, fruit and milk (I'm on church refreshment duty tomorrow) and a few other reduced items but I didn't hang around as supermarkets are always cold anyway.   I did give in and bought some wheat in the form of hot croissants, texted Mr N to say I was on my way home so my cafetiere was all ready by the time I got home. He said it had been sleeting and he felt sorry for me; can't say I noticed any sleet and it was self inflicted.       It sleeted later on.

Anyway I didn't do a great deal else apart from a fair bit of gardening, a lot of reading and sorting out my photobook.  I may do 5mins of a report now just so I've done some. 

And on the egg discussion, I didn't think you were meant to keep them in the fridge; I never do. Can't remember why.

OMG ... no... I can't come.. you'll all hate me... my children are feral.. I'm feral.... now I have a sweat on...

Could do easter hols weekday (OH is working so I can't come).. thats only 3-4 weeks away.. or a Sunday..

We forgot to go shopping.. but.. there is orange juice and cocoa and jelly and shortbread .. for the WAC

I'm up, made my bed, taken my meds, completed Wordle,  failed totally at Connections, and enjoyed my first brew.

Pops and Babs fly home today. I vaguely remember Pops saying they'd get home in daylight. 

I'm not going to see P & S this morning as they are visiting D in hospital.  They did say I could go over this afti, but I declined. Another day at home for me then. Home is my favourite place in the world. Athletics on telly it is then. And flutter in between. Sounds like a plan. 

Brew 2. Check flight times from Alicante. Check telly times for athletics. Breakfast. Then I'll post a Round to make sure something gets done.
