Thank you both, I do feel I kinda cheated a little bit by robbing the other pots to do it but I think I always knew that I would do that once the total of the pots reached £1,000. The plan now is to make sure I use the same methods to get the pots refilled.

you might re-split it again, you might keep it labelled ef and as the full £1000. In the end it doesn't really matter, point is you have it and its there to do with as you please.
If you want to start using it to bring in more money perhaps use it as seed money for a high percentage regular saver, several allow withdrawals over the year?
