Messy Monday is done and dusted, onto the rest of the week - I am pretty certain our school will be having kids not go in by midweek so will probably end up Weds working from home. We have had a pretty chill weekend with not much done other than a bit of family visiting. It will be a busy one this week and probably a tiring one. Thursday / Friday will be spent gardening and sorting a few bits in the house.

Nothing much to report financially, food shopping was done yesterday and so far we seem to be on budget, petrol will need to be topped up at some point.

Finally updated YNAB, I have been a naughty YNABBER this month. I haven't really kept up to it as much as I could have. The positive is that I haven't really over spent anywhere and pretty easy to reconcile. It does mean I can now do Transfer Tuesday 🥳

    Transfer Tuesday

Emergency Fund - Topped up by £30.00 - New Balance £530. This isn't so much getting much focus as it stands as I hit £500 and pretty content that covers most things at the minute. I am hoping to fund this by £100 per month but that might fluctuate. I want to have £1k by December.

Mattress purchase - £48.00 - This means we have passed the first £100 of the purchase price. We are likely to replace the bed at the same time so the goal might change. We do need to do some research though

    Xmas - £25 added - Balance now £75.00

    Car Maintenance - £25 added - Balance now £50

This transfer Tuesday we have been able to allocate a little more as we have more spare than normal. I am happy to slowly see the balances increase.

Work will turn a corner again soon hopefully and stress levels will drop again.

It’s really nice to read that you’ve had some good family time in between work too!

I have certainly had better ideas 🤣. She ended up trying to climb In at the bottom of my bed about 2am and then tried snuggled which I quickly rejected she's like a bloody over haha. I am going to get through July which I expect to be a tough month and then I am going to have two weeks off, a total shutdown and just have time away.
