🤣 Bet you can’t wait for a rest. I think I’m at the point where I just love getting to weekend and relaxing. I guess the issue with that is the weekend should when I’m catching on home stuff lol

Midway point of the week :D. Nothing much really to report. Today wasn't quite as early start as yesterday but still managed breakfast. I have cut down on caffeine intake and that seems to be helping with sleep. All direct debits are now gone, just a manual payment to make towards holiday. We get paid every two weeks so hoping I can start putting in weekly to savings.

Another day ticked off, I can not believe how cold it has been 🥶, it would be nice for it just to not be so grey and dull. Today has been okay, I managed to sleep okay last night but getting up wasn't quite as easy this morning, we currently have a bug running through the household so everyone is feeling a bit meh. Work has been okay this week and I am trying to become more aware of my work loads and trying to become a bit more proactive with things. I now have a list of all my ongoing projects and a separate actions list for odd things. I need to get better at email stuff but tomorrow is normally my admin / review day but I did it today due to feel shocking. Tomorrow is also a day full of meetings, plus getting tyres fitted tomorrow whilst I am at work.
I had a bit of an eyeopener today in just how much spare funds we just let drift away without any real job for it. I have always convinced myself we were doing well with budget and stuff but actually becoming more aware and watching / tracking the funds makes me see that there is so much our money could be doing for us.
We have done some researching and found a decent dining table and if we are sensible I think we could buy this when I get my salary at the end of Feb. It isn't too expensive, just need to check the sizing and then we will sort that. After that we need to get a new Fridge Freezer, we have seen the one we want and its a bit more than we normally would spend but we are going to save up for a few months before making a purchase.

MOT is booked for this weekend, so I need to make some time on Saturday morning just to empty the boot of stuff. Sunday we are planning a nice walk and some pub lunch, but it depends on how cold it is. I got new lego for Xmas and I have been desperate to start it but just haven't found time so might make that a Sunday thing. It will take forever to build but once I start I won't want to stop.
We get paid tomorrow so I can add funds to petrol, food shopping, savings. This allocation will need to last two weeks.

Sunday lego sounds like a fabulous way to bring a little joy in :)

😂 I have the home alone house so yeah it’s quite a big one to complete, but I love building Lego I’ve had quite a few of the smaller ones so this is going to take some level of patience

It’s the simple things haha, I’m quite content with my own company at times I can just sit peacefully building it. Another thing I like to do to relax is doodle n colour maybe I’m still young at heart 😂

Good Morning on a wet dark Friday! The end of another week but today is a quite busy one for me, few meetings, a the change and then also football tonight. I’m feeling a little bit more positive today than I have done lately, got a lot of admin related stuff today but it will be a long day. I will shuffle the money into the various funds that can be topped up.
Hope everyone has a lovely day

I know it takes more time but after Xmas people often get rid of tables and chairs (whereas in nov/dec other people are desperately buying them lol) so if you've any charity places that do furniture near you have a look, we've got lovely tables from a couple of good ones near us over the years
