So I have emailed my request and I await a response…

I had quite a nice day at work with a couple of walks in the sun.

I will drop my hours in July🎉 in theory anyway - worked about 11 extra this week without taking on extra shifts. So I don’t really see me only working the hours my new budget is calculated on.
Mixed bag this week at work, difficult person was extremely awful, so bad I discussed with boss and won’t return. I had a few lovely days though and got told by my boss she got great feedback from external agency about me so it’s nice to know someone thinks you are doing something well.
I was supposed to meet up with some old colleagues today but was so shattered I cancelled. Took DF to see DM and DS came round after work so that was plenty peopling for me today.

Sorry the difficult person was so awful - well done for dealing it and I’m glad it sounds like your boss was supportive.

Well done on the positive feedback from the external agency. Doesn’t surprise me at all 😊👏

I hope you have a restorative weekend 😊

Sorry re the difficult colleague - can be so hard to deal with whilst staying professional
    DON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff.    Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

It wasn’t a colleague LWAP, it was someone I support but as KK said my boss is very supportive, she’s lovely and said she would take me off his support. I feel immense relief.

My boss and almost all colleagues are great, apart from one person and even she isn’t too bad. It’s good feeling like you have a proper, supportive team as dealing with other people’s mental health you do need it at times.

Been to exercise class in the park now off to meet a friend for lunch and a food and music festival - happy days!

Hands waving here - I felt the need to watch the feud through to the end - awful but I love Jill Halfpenny - LOL

I also have made the decision to cut my hours this week. Feeling relieved but need to have the conversation at work.

I watched it to the end but wished I hadn’t! The builder character in particular was awful and I don’t think it was the actor just the script!

Well done on making the decision to cut your hours, life is too short to spend so much time at work.

I have had a lovely day with lots of dancing, always good.

Well done on resolving the hair glitter, the whopping great OP and the freedom of reducing your hours and ditching a difficult person. Sounds like lots of wins there to me.

Pay day yesterday thank goodness!  I have a couple of days off and the sun has returned which is lovely. I dyed some clothes yesterday and they seem to have worked out well just black as I was being indecisive but dyed some comfy black jeans which had faded too much, a pink dress that I bought and never wore and a lovely top which was pink with sort of coral broderie anglais as expected the stitching didn’t change colour but looks great against the black.

Today shall be catching up with the washing, hopefully a run and sorting through clothes - winter stuff needs moved and I need to gather together stuff I will never wear and stick on v!inted when I start my shorter hours.

Money also moved to big birthday holiday fund😂 hopefully this will keep me motivated!
