I have had a productive day off - breakfast with a friend, haircut and conquered the ironing pile.

Mortgage and OP came off yesterday still OPing £500 but monthly payment has been reduced and I am almost at my OP limit. New deals are in and mortgage rate is looking much the same as current rate.

    Mortgage OP 2026 £640/2000
    Mortgage balance: £32,240

    Make £50 a month Jan £20, Feb £0, March £31, Apr
    Boiler fund £1981/3000

Fancied a takeaway but made a satay style sauce instead and used stuff I already had, I am taking that as a win😂

  • Definitely the right decision - home satay is easy and always tastes better than takeaway.

Walked to work and back today which was nice. I had a chicken salad for lunch and made pulled chicken for dinner - put a portion in the freezer, still loads of chicken left😂

So looking forward to my hours going down, I have a week off this month and another next month which means only six more weeks including this one of full time work🎉

It’s been hard going this week and I have been talked into working on Sunday too😩

July hours look so good I will be wishing my life away until then!

One more week to work then a week off and time away in the sun. I just looked out my passport so must check in etc and book a couple of excursions.

l have been really tired but not sleeping well so I have splashed out on the c@1m app again as it works wonders for me, hopefully in a few days time I will be like a new woman.

Ah, you’re in the demob state to finally getting a few days away phase … Everyone always finds work unbearable then! And you’ve added Sunday to the mix as well! (Very good of you btw …)

I hope it passes swiftly, the C@lm app helps and you get some downtime after Sunday!

I went to the beach for a walk during a break today and watched some very cute ducklings for a while. Surprised how busy the beach was at 9:30 (I know it looks quiet in the photo 😂).
