2 x wm out on whirly, double pegged as the seems to have got up, the sun is still out, always a bonus.Helped OH put 'stuff' in loft, he has not really dealt with it, but I don't need to look at it, it will do for now.Whole house hoovered, emptied bagless thing, all hard floors mopped.Cats feed area scrubbed, then also mopped.Windows and doors are open to let in air, including 2 shed doors.Fed deer and birds.Tidied up 'my' shed, even managed to hoover part of the floor in there, the rest will have to wait until deck chairs and such like come out. Mended my bamboo wind chime, needle and cotton has done the job for now, really need very fine cord or rope, I'll look on local market on Wednesday.Feet up for 10 mins.Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

@Asparklierblonde please drive carefully on those long journeys. And remember to concentrate on the way back and not lose your concentration talking to your son. Lecture over!@roundtuit that's f-a-n-t-a-s-t-i-c! Well done. This morning, once I was up and dressed, I did the eye drops and then wrote a card for my friend's father who is has been in hospital for 5 months - he's 90 tomorrow. Because I had it in my head is birthday is next month I hadn't sent a card and gift in good time so had to send them special delivery by 1pm. I hope they arrive and my friend is in when the postman comes so she can take them to the hospital when she visits. I also took a bag of rubbish down and bought the paper. After that it was time to take A to see the practice nurse who was taking a sample to be sent of for culturing. She took the sample in a different way from what we'd been told to do so it was a good job she did it - she also had the correct implement to take the sample of course. After that i was back for lunch and more eye drops and then went out to get a few magazines to send to my friend's father. I came home, wrapped them, put them in a Jiffy bag and went again to the post office. I sent them separately from the card because (a) I hoped the postman might just put the card through the door if my friend wasn't in but the magazine parcel would be too big and (b) it was ready to go and I wanted at least that to get off in case there were any problems getting some suitable magazines. It was hard to know what to buy him as he is stuck in hospital and has a feeding tube now so I can't even send something nice to eat.I then came back up, made my lunch and now it's time to take A to the hospital for a bone density scan.Sorry if this was long and boring7

And I've rung the garage and booked Feargal in for MOT and service on 4th March - MOT runs out on 12th.
P has an appointment at the hospital in pigpen land tomorrow (CHH not HRI). DS is taking him as (a) P's anxiety is off the scale and (b) even when he's not ill P can't drive over the Humber Bridge.
Just had a text to say that P's terminally ill brother is being taken to the same hospital tomorrow. Hopefully they can sort him out and get him home for his wedding on 1st March.
In other news my DB is well on the road to recovery and plans to return to work on 1st March.
Thank you CoG 😊 And I like your posts so please stop thinking they are boring.
Love to all

HB I do hope you have some answers xx
Round - your posts make me smile so much. Thank you xx
CoG I promise I concentrated, thank you for thinking of me. I think A is very lucky to have you taking care of him, I think that each time I read your posts xx
Long drive done, didn’t make it to Waitrose as I forgot my purse 😳🤣. Good job I had fuel in the car!
Cleaning job went well, her house is a new build though and just so hot! 22 degrees in her bedroom, I was sweltering!Easy tea scoffed and DS and I are settling down the Minions film. He’s had a bath, and all his laundry is in the WMxx8 -
Evening all. Thanks for the list.
As per usual DGD2 has been here today but when she had her nap I cleaned the windows in the living room.
I plan to fly properly tomorrow once I've had a lie in.Spend less now, work less later.8 -
Thanks @roundtuit@Asparklierblonde glad you arrived back safely.
A has been very good to me in the past so it's only right that I repay that now. In any event, there is no one else who would/could step up to the plate.
Took A for a bone density scan. Fortunately they were on time and the scan only took 15 minutes. The room was quite small so I left A in the care of the radiographer, whom, he said, was lovely. What did take time was getting his shoes and trousers off, into the gown, shoes back on, and then the whole thing in reverse afterwards. When we got bck to the car I took the opportunity of the wheelchair and tri-walker being out of the boot so take other things out of it that don't need to stay there when the car is serviced tomorrow. I put them in a bag to take up to the flatOn the way back I stopped off at the chemist to see if one of A's eye prescriptions was ready (it was) and to buy some Otravine spray for me as I suffer badly from congestion. You aren't supposed to use it too much as it can make matters worse so I just use it before I go to sleep otherwise I wake up with nostrils that feel like they're filled with concrete! I also picked up a brownie for A's tea and a bottle of wine.Got home, made A's tea and quickly threw together a beef casserole for tonight and then made a coffee for myself -a bit late, but never mind. Gave more eye drops.

Hello,
Late again, but not as late as I have been known to be when I’ve been really late…I’ve just confused myself with that sentence, so apologies to you lovely people!
HB, I hope you have got the answers you need today x
Iona, I hope your appointment went well. Belated vibes heading put for LC x
Valli - I frog back my knitting sometimes so much that I turn green and practically croak!ASB - glad you and DS are back safely x
Round - hats off to your weight loss, way to go! Now if you wouldn’t mind not donating your losses in my direction, that would be very much appreciated. How do you get into a locked shed, you ask? Why you call Chain Saw Wielding Kaz, of course, to sort it out!
CoG - never boring. One day I too will be that person who throws together a beef casserole for tea.
Work done, dinner cooked (Thai green curry, in case you were wondering), kitchen tidied, wm loaded for the morning. Day off tomorrow, so I will crack on with today’s list then. A friend is coming over and we are planning on going on a walk to see the snowdrops in the woods. As it rained non stop Saturday night and part of today as well, I am expecting much mud.
I will do some yoga in a bit, then it will be pjs and knitting this blasted jumper for DD. Can’t wait to get back to sock knitting. I’m hoping to keep put of the WAC this evening, as waking up at 12.38am today was just ridiculous.6
