NatWest/RBS/Ulster £200 Switching Offer 15/2/2024-2/4/2024

The application form for Ulster Bank 'left me in the middle of nowhere' but 48hrs later I got the Yoohoo-ID-thingy instructions to do and since then I've had regular up to date SMS's and emails. My switch completes on 20 March, then that's the three £200's or me.
And big thanks to the original OP for the heads up.3

It's always best to read the actual bank offer - on the bank's website - rather than rely on the summary on MSE, which often misses detail or oversimplifies..tracyyi said:

But to answer your question, you can switch a non-NatWest into your existing NatWest Select account. No need to open a second account if you don't want to.
Make sure you also meet the other criteria, specifically make a £1250 deposit (and keeping it there for 24 hrs) and also log into their banking app.
So I just switch my another bank (Virgin Money) to my current Natwest Select account which I opened since 2018.
I do NOT need to open a second Natwest Select account.
 Am I correct?

The bank's website (https://www.natwest.com/current-accounts/reward_account.html#200-switch) simply says (my bold italics):Get our £200 offer when you switch to NatWest
Apply online or via our mobile app to switch a current account held elsewhere using the Current Account Switch Service into a NatWest bank account from 15 February 2024.Deposit £1,250 into your account and log in to our mobile banking app within 60 days. App eligibility criteria apply. When you meet these conditions, we'll pay £200 into your eligible account within 7 days. No mention of any need for a new account - so if you already have a NatWest account there's no need for a new account. 1

You mention "we" however. Both you and your partner can each do a sole switch (ie. your own individual accounts, not joint ones) into separate NatWest accounts to each get the switch incentive yourself.0

This is normal. If you provided your mobile number you'll get a text in a few days when things get underway, otherwise you probably won't hear anything until your old bank gets in touch.tracyyi said:I completed my switch form using this link

However, I waited for 15 minutes, there is no email, or SMS regarding that my switch form is completed.
 Is that normal?0

The discussion in the other thread is referring to taking advantage of switch offers from NatWest, RBS and Ulster bank - all part of the NatWest group. Technically according to the letter of the T&Cs you should only be able to take advantage of one incentive per person from all 3 banks, but in practice people are finding that they can take advantage of this incentive from all 3 banks individually, to get 3x £200.0

They don't seem to check basically - I had a switch incentive paid in January 2021 for a NatWest switch (done December 2020) which the RBS site said meant I didn't qualify for it but they paid me anyway. I didn't do Ulster personally.tracyyi said:
