Check the chase app, I didn't have any comms for a day or two but Chase app showed it as closing in X days.Marcoos said:Gone for the Natwest switch. It's prgressed to the point where I can sign into the NW app and see the account. But doesn't seem to be anything yet, either email or text about the actual switch.
Have I messed this up and done something wrong? When applying I did it as a switch and entered my Chase (2nd burner account) details. Starting to think I did something wrong!1 -
Question on the deposit, it doesn't mention days of the week, but can it cause issues if the 24 hours includes weekend?0

So, completed switch for natwest & incentive received.
Ulster switching Tuesday, hopefully incentive paid by end of next week.
Applied for RBS but got rejected, appealed & now decision reversed but have to ring them to open account.
Is it worth waiting until next week, after 2nd incentive paid from Ulster or would you ring today?
Don't want them to ask about other accounts held etc. Or if they can see I've already received the incentive from Natwest 🤔0 -
Paid £1250 into Ulster on Monday 4th March but still no payout.
I got the NatWest and RBS within 24 - 36 hours of meeting the conditions, so am thinking that Ulster may have realised that I have had previous payments and are not going to pay out.
Or are they just slow?0 -
I was wondering this. I had a switch bonus in 2022 from RBS but never from Natwest so tried a switch to Natwest which completed on 6th March. Money been in for over 24 hours so hoping to receive the switch bonus today or am wondering if they have twigged.Whatme said:Paid £1250 into Ulster on Monday 4th March but still no payout.

I might withdraw from £1250 and put it in again although my switch did not complete until 6th March so maybe just need to give it another day or two.MABLE said:Payment just arrived.Completion 5 March
payment 8 March
However I did send the £1250 again yesterday and perhaps this triggered the payment and the original payment was sent to close to switch completion.0 -

ask the customer service or check your chase appMarcoos said:Gone for the Natwest switch. It's prgressed to the point where I can sign into the NW app and see the account. But doesn't seem to be anything yet, either email or text about the actual switch.

My RBS switch was done on 6th, £1250 paid in 10:03 that day, removed around 11 on the 7th - will wait until Monday and then bounce £1250 in again for a day and see if that triggers it if they don't pay it by then. Still expecting to be told I don't qualify due to previous NatWest payment in Jan 2020 but might get lucky given others had multiple payouts - I would formally complain in that situation as my switch was December 2019 and qualified for the payment - that they paid it later is immaterial to me
Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.
