Thank you and the reason i put that note up was after spending hours clicking into all the links was mainly for ease. I have actually printed off loads of information from the posts as some extend to many many pages of interesting info. You really do have to read and read and read again when you are completely clueless like i am.0

What is CRA ? PleaseTrainerman said:What is not clear?
The claimant is making a point-by-point rebuttal of your defence, in part based on their assertation that you have used a generic internet available defence " in order to avoid paying PCNs" . Translation of this snide peace of prose is that the bad bad defendant is trying to get out of it, rather than having an honest actual point of disagreement.
A lot of this stuff is utter tosh, and you should settle down and see where the 'spin' lies and how you will subsequently answer these points.
As a starter, to my mind much of the 2.11 and 2.12 sections are wrong about terms and saying that the CRA does not apply here. Is car parking not a 'service' ??? Have a read of the CRA and see what you think.
Once you can see where they have been 'economical with the truth', you will see the answers.0 -

Thanks C-M I think because as i have no understanding of what i have got myself into and my head is really not processing the format. i keep going over the 12 points again and again and clicking into the links and making notes and looking at draft witness statements and again making notes. I am actually fearing the day in court and the judge saying take her down!! or that will be eight thousand pounds for wasting our time cause you don't know what you are doing!! I have to sit down today and fill in the N180, just feeling a little overwhelmed but i really appreciate your response.Coupon-mad said:Why?The process is easier than doing an appeal.0 -
Even people who lose pay less than the claim. Not more. You are also picturing a criminal court which this is not.justfedup23 said:

This is like a formal meeting where their rep says 'Judge, this person owes the Claimant some money' and you say 'no I don't, and here's why'. Just like an appeal but in person and local to you.
And you might not even have a hearing!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
