Thats a point, being a total sav nav novice - can anyone recommend anything essential to spend the voucher on? I was thinking the accessory pack which has case and charger would be best but any advice gratefully received.0

It is £109.99 delivered at Play.com:

can i just ask about Sat Navs, is it not just as easy to get directions off of the AA route planner before setting out rather than buying a £100+ invitation for car thieves to put your window through?helpful tips
it's spelt d-e-f-i-n-i-t-e-l-y
there - 'in or at that place'
their - 'owned by them'
they're - 'they are'
it's bought not brought (i just bought my chicken a suit from that new shop for £6.34)0 -
I got my Tom Tom a couple of days ago and am well happy, just wondering what to spend my voucher on, John Cleese's voice or a case!!!
Dont pay for the John Cleese voice get it free with some others from here its also good for POI's.

AA route planner has provided me with many driving nightmares as well as the RAC.
As long as you are not stupid enough to leave the sucker mark on your windscreen and remove your sat nav (and all traces of it) from your car, nobody will be smashing your windscreen!!0 -

It is as long as you -
a) follow the routes to the letter
b) don't encouter roadblocks and have to be diverted
c) can be alerted to accident blackspots.
If your alone you also have to stop to read the next directions, rather than turn by turn voice guidance, otherwise your breaking the law big time.
To be honest with you, when they were £300+ i'd agree with you, but now the TomTom ones are sub £100, theres no competition.0 -

Especially when you get lots of funny voices for it too. OK ok, the novelty of them wears off quickly...0 -

And what do you do when you hit a traffic jam on the motorway and have to come off? Those dogging sites can be a nightmare to find in the dark!
SatNavs are one of the best gadgets of the last 5 years along with PVRs and bluetooth head units.0
