Hi I just bought a Tom Tom Christmas Cracker Edition from Amazon with free delivery and a free £10 accessory voucher for £99.99. Been after one for ages but could never justify it until now.....

i am thinking of buying this, but its all new to me... does anyone know if its possible to download and add extra maps to this model? i occassionally drivein europe, so was wondering if this is possible??

Yes, apparently, you can upgrade to include Europe but it is quite expensive, around £60, which means it is probably better to buy one with Europe already on if it is just say £20/£30 more. Well this is what the salesman in Halfords told me anyway. Hope this is helpful.

I purchased this model and have been really impressed with it as I wanted something simple and that will just be used in the UK.

With regards to Europe you definately need the Europe edition as I read loads of reviews before I took the plunge and quite a few people said dont by this model if you want to use it in europe. The reason for this is that there is no SD Card slot and it only has an internal memory so there would not be enough memory to download the European maps.

I managed to download some POI and some free addittional voices from this website for my Tom Tom One V3:

I bought this for my husband for Christmas. he has never used one before and he thinks it is fantastic. I bought it from Amazon when it was £127 but when it went down to £99.99 I e-mailed them and asked for a refund of the difference as the price has changed within 30 days. They have done this. Don't forget to check all the prices you paid at Amazon at if they decrease within 30 days theu will refund you the difference as long as you write to them. Search for Amazon refund on this site and you should find all the details.

You guys (& gals) can get this in PC World for £98 :money: Just tell them to "Price Match" Amazon, and they will give you 110% off the PC World price, which is £119.99 :T
