Not today sadly I have spent all my savings for this week on a game, it has improved the game, but I wasn't supposed to spend any money on the game again, I got the idea that I wanted the radiant lotus it looked beautiful but also it will restore energy going forward. I should not have done it, and I can't not use the game. What to do? Make use of the lotus going forward or try and stop playing the game, I would lose all my neighbours if I was to do that. If I am worried about losing neighbours I could seperate from all my neighbours the thought pains me.1

@HotDog2020 I think if you have already bought the lotus for the game there's no reason to stop playing, unless it's a game that encourages spending on add-ons, in which case I would consider giving it up.HotDog2020 said:Not today sadly I have spent all my savings for this week on a game, it has improved the game, but I wasn't supposed to spend any money on the game again, I got the idea that I wanted the radiant lotus it looked beautiful but also it will restore energy going forward. I had a thought, do you think it might be worth keeping a list of these sorts of purchases so you can add up the cost over time? Back in the day I never tracked what I was spending on things and had no idea what money was going in and out of my accounts and it greatly helped me when I started tracking it, in fact it made all the difference. You might track things already but just thought I'd ask. x1 -

Thanks @cathybird, I think you are right to put this point across, the game does encourage add ons I could have a reality check tonight to see how much I have spent on it this year, I think everyone will be shocked if I were to broadcast, and was is griping it is probably the cost of getting the kitchen tiled, which is what I am hoping and trying to save for!
Today I have rearranged my finances with the game, but I think I need to find a new hobby, I quite like cross stitch or at least, I use to, I may take that up, i'll have a look for a cross stitch pack that I could buy next week (No money left this week all spent on the game, I do have a little but want to savour that for the week ahead.
I have a new standing order set up for £180 each month to go straight to premium bonds, I take a set amount out each week for bill and the savings will be included in this. That will leave now £170 for groceries/petrol (which I barely need) / gifts and just general spending money. I feel this is a lot, but I spent everything today all at once, it is like I can't stay in control, I was supposed to put £120 to savings today (I used all this and more on the game today). And I am thinking about what next, I have to say I am hooked. But if it is going to cost me things I need and want that are more important I really need to stop. I have tried playing for free but always end up spending money on it... Right I am going to see how much exactly I have spent...reality check I don't want to share it though because it is embarrassing maybe I should share it to show what a problem I have with it.
On The upside today I did leave money for groceries and I have decided to get Slimming world meals from Iceland either tomorrow or Sunday - I am quite surprised how tasty they were and they are filling and syn free and not too expensive 6 meals for £20, That is good value.

@cathybird it is what I feared, I would have enough now to do the work I need doing to the Kitchen and finish off the bathroom £1699.82 From January this year. I am leaving the game cold turkey. As of right now I am not playing it. I am going to look for a cross stitch that I can do, also it will mean not using the computer so much. I have a cupboard to put together this weekend and some shopping to do. I have a book on the go and I may as well help mother dearest out with her garage. EAK! Just had a row with mum so I guess I am not going to be helping md out at the weekend.2
