Hi, really enjoyed taking part in January and would love to take part in Feb as well!8
-
I read through the initial post of the challenge for February, and already love it!
It's really incredible, I have just written a "farewell January" post in the January thread, and I've listed what didn't work for me, and, by doing that, I got clear in my mind I need to be kinder to myself and take things and new habits small, one tiny piece at a time. Then I came here to read the new topic and found that it fully matches what I had already set in my mind! Amazing!
for the February challenge:- I've already set I will be aiming for 18 NSD's
- I have set the budget for bills, mortgage, CC fixed and minimum payments in the main account where I have all direct debits etc. set up.
- Set aside in their own pots the minimum needed for expenses, travel, groceries and the knitting fair I'll be going to at the end of the month. It's a small amount because that's all I can afford at the moment, so hopefully it is enough.
- Put what was left in the savings account, which is rather depleted after December and January. My main objective is not having to dip into it this month, and obviously not having to use any of the credit cards.
- I want to make a meal plan: I used to do it years ago, and I want to start doing it again, as it helps keeping on top of things to do in the house, keeping on top of healthy habits and of course keeping on top of expense
Happy February turtles!

Another de-lurking after reading last months - reading the opening post and seeing the comment about painting your nails whilst waiting for my nails to dry cinched it for me 😅

Welcome all!
Thanks for your words of wisdom @grandmanerd. National Dark Chocolate day would have passed me by otherwise, but don't worry, I won't let it!
A non working day for me but need to join a call briefly mid-morning, then swinging by 😂 the bra shop as they ordered something in for me yesterday, on my way to the station then home to dad's. Am weary, but pleased to have made it through first lot of work travel for a long time, to have seen my friend and fave work colleagues, and revisited a few once-familiar haunts.9
