This year I wasnt going to go, but then got given a fair amount to spend in vouchers, so may as well make use of them.
I would do it online, but they took my account away as i no longer meet their requirments:( (not actually that suprising!)
Does anyone else get up early and go???
Im pretty small and got a 3 year old, so like to get there so i dont miss out on the good stuff.
as you can tell there are plenty of others sados about:rotfl::mad:

Hows about you spend some quality time with your family instead of entering threads which, self admittedly, do not concern you and slagging off people who just think differently than you!!
Opinions are like ar*eholes, everybody's got one, you need to remember that!:rolleyes:0 -

I wish I hadn't bothered going to the Next sale this morning (Brighton one).
I got there at 0730 wanting only a pair of PJs, some slippers and some towels. There was almost nothing left except the crappy clothes they couldn't sell last year. I wish I'd stayed in bed!
On the other hand, I popped into M&S grumpy and disappointed, only to find some rather fabulous Per Una clothes for sale. So I got a couple of bits there.' <-- See that? It's called an apostrophe. It does not mean "hey, look out, here comes an S".0 -
my ds now has lots of clothes for next couple of growth spurts thanks to next and m&s. Really pleased as was watching some of it on ebay and have got it cheaper than i would have on there:j :j0

Went to 2 stores in Leicestershire this am and got loads, mostly xmas pressies for next year! Didn't have much for 2 year old girls or 10 year old boys so kids didn't do too well but homewares were fab, managed to get 2 dinner sets at less than a 1/3 the cost so well chuffed!!:j :j0

For all of this fuss, i hope that someone will tell me that for all the hype that surrounds a next sale, items that are priced at £20 are now down to £1 or something. Or a dress for £50 is now £5, because for the life of me i cant see any reason what so ever the need to get up at 4am to go to a shop to get stuff for cheap?
Where i work (retail) we have stuff that comes in thats all cheap tatt that gets put into a sale coming up. It probably cost them pennies or a few pounds at the most, so really there is no bargain at all!
I just wanna know why all you mad women do it!!0 -

my daughter works for Next and assures me all of the stock in her store is what was available at full price before christmas..... so where the 3 year old stock idea comes from........ although i suspect it gets passed to tkmaxx and such likesmile --- it makes people wonder what you are up to....
