If you and I weighed the same and we were both on this diet and stuck to it ridgedly.....if I ate loads of food but it was completely free, but you only ate your 3 meals a day ( all free food)...then you would lose the most weight....
You are still comsuming calories even if they are free on SW...
This is not necessarily true. If you don't eat enough whilst doing the SW plan, you often won't lose any weight. Forget calories and trust food optimising.
It's all been worked out by a doctor who knows what she's doing even if the science behind it defeats most of us. You just have to have faithI let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
AMIE399 Don't waste your money on the scanbran! Nasty..
You might like it though, people have different tastes.0 -
tobys_mummy wrote: »also i have been told that on a green day you can have any cheese as a healthy extra not just those listed - you just have to work out what amount would equal 6 syns. is this true? if so 28g of mascarpone is 6 syns, 84g of ricotta is 6 syns and 28g of creme fraiche is 5.5 syns.
You asked me about soft cheeses before Tobys mummy, and I gave you the list which doesn't include mascarpone as a HE and only includes creme fraiche as a free food if it's the vlf natural one.
I really think if you're following SW you should stick to what it says in the book. If you start tweaking you'll stop losing.I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -

I wasnt thinking of not eating enough.....still having 3 meals a day....but its the extra that we may eat....even only free foods....it must take longer for the weight to come off...DS Anthony Steven 07.06.92DD Becky Emma 24.01.94DD Rose Grace Jean 12.05.090 -
Hello
not sure Im afraid but I do know that the Horlicks Extra Light Satchets of Malt chocolate drink are 2 sysn. The packet say less than 40 calories. My consultant says that on average 20 calories is 1 syn.
consultant31 - Ovaltine light is 5 syns per 25gm sachet.
Thanks both - I have the Light Ovaltine Chocolate in a tub, but I've also got some sachets, which are 20g each, 74 calories per sachet. I guess that puts it around 3.5 - 4.5 syns per serving, which isn't too bad. I'll keep it as my bedtime drink then.0 -

Thought I'd pop in and say hi, but really not in the mood today - WI tonight and I've put on even though I've been good. Makes me feel like I'll never reach my target - or even halfway down to it at this rate!
Sorry you're feeling downheartedYou *will* reach your target, it's just sometimes a bit of a frustrating journey!

Hi All
Redmel has been in touch about my Losing Weight Recipes Collection
I have today updated the index with all the unindexed recipes on that thread and was going to do the same with the recipes from here but this thread is 106 pages long and would take me eons to trawl through to find any recipes that may have been posted.
Therefore if you could find it in your hearts to add any of your recipes to the end of the Losing Weight Recipes Collection stating whether they are GI, WW, SW etc, I will add them to the index on a regular basis (promise!)I haven't got one!0
