Morning all! And a very heartfelt thankyou to all of you for your kind words and support. I am sure my consultant didn't mean to be hurtful and I was probably a bit paranoid, any other week I might have just brushed it off but it just shows you how sensitive we can all be when our head isn't in the right place.
Anyway a new day has dawned so drawing a line. Finding it really hard to keep up with this thread, wow it is great though to see so many new people on it and the support is incredible. I admit I came over all unnecessary at some of your lovely messages. Been up since 6 as DS had been in with me, he has a bit of a cold and the snot was making him gag and be sick (sorry if tmi) so when I got up to the loo he decided it was morning. But I think all the crud I have been eating in the last week has caught up with me as I have my IBS in full force today and I am sitting here with terrible cramps. I am so much better when I eat loads of fruit and veg although I know many say the opposite. Mr T is coming tonight with my groceries so I will have 0% again, lovely. SO I will just have to find what I can today LOL. I always have tatties and beans in so I think a green day is in order with as many veggies as I can find, the only fruit is some grapes that are fast turning into raisins.0 -
Morning everyone
Congratulations Workforshoes on your weight loss to date and as I have only just found this thread, congratulations to everyone else - it would take me far too long to read through the whole thread and I would probably get the sack... :rotfl:
I get weighed tomorrow and I am dreading it as I have had a cold this week and have just wanted to eat eat eat so a couple of days the plan has gone completely out of the window but we are human after all. I have been doing the plan since August and am kind of bored with it now but still have about 1 stone to go.
Anyway, I am waffling!
Im having a mix to match day today and I just wondered how other members find the mix to match. I just cant get my head round the success express so have not tried this but am finding the mix to match ok (and I think I am doing it right)!
Anyway - here is my menu for today
Breakfast: Hi fi bar (choc orange) HEB
GREEN
Lunch Heinz Mean Beanz - Mexican - free on green
28g cheese (HEA)
RED TEA
Gammon Steaks - free on Red (well I think they are free!) weighed jacket (HEB)
Snacks : Shape Lasting Satisfaction Yogurts (Free on both)
Syns : Choc Buttons treatsize (4 syns)
Thai sweet chilli sauce 1.5 syns per tablespoon
Birds Eye Steam Fresh veg - Carrot, Brocolli and Sweetcorn (1 syn for the sweetcorn! as having with a red tea.
So does it sound like I am doing it ok???0 -
Flat Eric I don't have much experience of M2M to be honest but I can't see anything obviously wrong. I only did it once when going to a wedding. Will a Hifi keep you full all morning though?0

whats m2m? and i couldn't survive on a hifi bar all morning, had 1oz puffed rice, milk and banana on top, lol!!!!!0

You dont have to stick to a red or green day...you can mix them but im not sure how you divide the A' and B's...someone else may be able to explain it xDS Anthony Steven 07.06.92DD Becky Emma 24.01.94DD Rose Grace Jean 12.05.090 -
I think on M2M your HEA/HEB have to be HEA/HEB on both days if that makes sense? It always confused me so to be safe I stuck with the standard red and greens.
Thought I'd pop in and say hi, but really not in the mood today - WI tonight and I've put on even though I've been good. Makes me feel like I'll never reach my target - or even halfway down to it at this rate!0 -
M2M is MIX 2 MAX and here's how it works:-
Each meal time decide if you fancy Green or Original
Stick to that choice for that meal – you can go back for 2nds if you’re still hungry during the same mealtime
Choose again when it's time for your next meal
Snack on Superfree Foods all day - those nutritious, filling foods that are Free on both choices
You can still choose 4 Healthy Extras
Still take your daily Syns allowance - if Original & Green Syn values are different, count the highest
If you have a starter or a dessert, make it Superfree Food or count the Syns.
Example breakfast having chosen an Original meal:-
Lean bacon, scrambled eggs, tomatoes and mushrooms – all Free Food on Original
2 Bowyer’s sausages – if you’re having an original meal count the lower Syn value (1 Syn each)
2 slices of toast from a 400g loaf – a Healthy Extra ‘b’ choice
"On a Mix2Max day, everything you eat, apart from your main courses*(see below) that isn't a Superfree food or a Healthy Extra has syns. If the food you choose (between meals) has a higher Syn value on one choice than the other you should count the higher Syn value.
*If your main course contains any syns, count the syn value appropriate to the Green or Original choice you've been following for that meal."I let my mind wander and it never came back!0
