  • Mmm Pizza hut

I wouldn't be able to resist that

I missed out on my jacket spud at lunch - there were no beans left when I got back from my shopping over lunch (I work in the city centre) so I ended up having butternut squash soup.

Just about to do a chilli with beef mince but filled with loads of veg and i'll have a jacket with that instead....

Does anyone have a particular day when they are bad  I find i'm worse on Sundays - I love sunday dinner but I also love yorkies (puds not choc :rotfl: ) and my stuffing and gravy which of course leaves me with not many syns..... By tea time, i'm hungry and can and often do eat anythign I can get my hands on......

I'm making chocolate brownies Sunday - not SW ones but they are for our friends daughters birthday - I will be good though and resist!!

Not logged on for a couple of days due to teething baby - using my sins on much needed whiskey! Congrats to everyone who's lost.
Got my babys christening on sunday and don't want to go overboard at the buffet. Anyone got any tips to avoid me hogging the buffet table and ruinging my good work so far?
Hope you're ok Catt after your hospital visit x
IS the buffet being prepared by you or someone else? Do you know what things will be served and what day you will be on?

  • Always on a green day being a veggie. Food being prepared by the pub - oh dear!!! Help!!
  • Main thing is not to panic!!

Can you contact the pub to see what they are preparing?

Salad would be the blatently obvious thought. Also if they are doing any pasta salad.

Or even cous cous salad? Quite hard to prepare in advance for these events if you aren't doing the catering

If you were doing a buffet yourself for a green day, what would you serve?

  • I'd probably do a pasta salad and then run out of ideas! Will contact the pub tomorrow and see if they can do a pasta salad - thanks for that! I'm so tempted to say fiddle sticks to it all and go for gold but I'm only 2 1/2lbs from my stone award and I've promised myself a beauty treatment every 1/2 stone - the next treat is a massage.....
  • well done girls, theres some fab loses and even better meal ideas there

and the support forums that are being posted are brilliant for mid week support, recipe ideas and help

keep up the good work all :O)

  • Does any of your friends or family do SW George?

Perhaps you could ask the pub to do some crudites then you could make your own SF dip - Like a cucumber and mint Raitha??

  • Had my weigh-in today and somehow, amazingly, lost 1lb. I had my star week and lots of chocolate, so not sure how that happened, but very pleased!!

    Total loss 1st 5.5lb in 5 weeks.

Aiming for 1.5lb this week to get my 1.5 stone award.

One woman today got her 7 stone award which is so impressive, and pretty motivating too!
  • Well done purple!! Fantastic
