From Google Earth this appears to be the entry sign when I have compared to the evidence sent.
    Your link made live.

That can hardly be termed an entry sign, it's at the back of the car park, it's also a Rugby club sign not a UKPS sign so cannot make a contract with them, in fact virtually all the signage I can see is from the rugby club not a ppc it's just not on they are taking people for mugs.

Received my debt recovery letter. Dont worry will be ignoring it. Just wanted to update where I am and still fighting.

I am trying to find an email for the directors of the club to write another complaint as the complaint made to their general email remains ignored. Ill be seeing my local MP on Saturday. Ill update if its successful.
  • Hi @Crystal86,

I have received the same PCN for the same location.

UKPS have rejected (as expected) my appeal with what seems a pre-drafted response.

I am interested as to what your outcome was?

    Looking forward to your response.

But of course you just ignore UKPS.

Sit tight. Do nothing except the below.

By going confidently into the 'ignore' stance, the only steps to take (because you MUST check every letter) are:

    - Tell them if you move house within 6 years.

    - Ignore the tedious £170 threatograms shown in pictures in the 4th post of the NEWBIES thread.

    - Come back if you get a solicitor's LBC as per the 2nd post of the NEWBIES thread.

Nobody pays a penny and no hearing is even needed in most cases. Search the forum and read a few cases as they are easy to beat by waiting for a claim form - it is easier than appealing!

There is no risk AT ALL in defending a court claim. No CCJ. No bailiffs.

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

@Lincoln84 Would you join the call for Govt to protect motorists from the nasty private parking industry practices. A 2nd petition has just been created. Please sign and share 🙏

Hi Lincoln84. My debt recovery letters have now stopped. They sent around 8!!! Did not contact them at all. April last year got my last letter. Hopefully they leave me alone.

Hope you get yours sorted, just follow the process on the Newbies post. Good luck.

You've left your name visible in that last scan.  This is still a debt collector as it doesn't give a deadline to pay of 30 days and is not headed "Letter of Claim".  Ignore it and Moorside will likely send you an actual LoC later.  After that it usually goes quiet but not always.

Thanks for noticing that!! Just deleted.
I thought it looked like another debt letter but wanted to make sure. Just researching now on threads to ensure I am ready if and when I receive the letters.

Really appreciate your response, thank you.
