Morning all, I tried posting twice last week to thank you all for your good wishes for Emily. However the first one vanished, and during worrying the second the internet vanished!! Ho hum, who'd live in the country? Oh me and ASB and many others.
Sewing machine still not working properly, I won't let it defeat me.
Jobs for today, DW at least twice. Dig some liver out of the freezer for tea. Empty the fridge freezer in the barn, put it all into the inside ones. Anyone have a shoehorn I could borrow? Crochet a tiny blanket for DGD2 for her teddies, she lost hers when they were away at the weekend. Sew up jumper for DGS2. Try to arrange time to visit Emily, when we aren't needed for childcare, and others are able to watch the livestock.
Well done on the weight loss, @roundtuit. Sorry your not feeling great, @Natty68, hope you improve soon. Keep up the good work, @Asparklierblonde, hope the weather is kind to you.
Hugs to all, mumtoomany.xxx

Thank you Valli and Mumtoomany xx I need to find my marathon mindset, I'm too much an 'I want it all, and I want it now' with a dash of Homer Simpson's 'if at first you don't succeed, quit'. Not this time hunny.
I've completed Round 1 plus I've put away the emptied airer, put away the groceries, and paid the window cleaner. And binned a bit more roofing felt that had blown off the shed roof.

Good morning
Natty thanks for the lists. Be kind to yourself.
My weekend disappeared & I didn't achieve much!
We went to Theatreland to watch a play - very funny! It was soooooo busy!! Back to prepandemic numbers I would say. We were lucky with trains home & we got in at about 11pm. Nearly had a heart attack when I bought the tickets!! £54 for 2 travel cards!!!
Sunday I told DH I was having a lazy day - and I did!! I have nearly finished my Jigsaw, and not much else. I told him I would catch up this morning.
Unfortunately, it hasn't panned out that way and I am still in bed. I had a headache Saturday, and seem to have developed a cough. Last night I was freezing!! I feared the worst as that was exactly how I felt in Copenhagen when I had covid in September.
I have taken a test, but there was hardly any liquid in it. Also, I don't think I swabbed my throat enough as I was sick 😓 It was negative, but I might do another later. Now I am just sleepy. I might get up soon though.
DH is giving the LR walls another coat of paint as we ran out of time (& paint) before Christmas. I need to book in damp course work for Feb half term, which is creeping up!
Round Well done on the weight loss - a step in the right direction!
asb Hugs to you and your lovely children
Valli Well done on yesterday's achievements & not feeling washed out 👍
Hugs, sticks & spoons to anyone that needs them

Thank you for all the lists xxI have been cleaning since 8am non stop, however it is all done, inc washing the bath mats! blowing a hoolie here, so ideal to get it dry on the whirly, all is triple pegs on. I even clean the shower filter plug thing, the hoover filters in the base of it, the door of the oven, so sitting now for at least 15 mins.OH has offered to take me out to lunch, so I said yes, just waiting to see what he wants.....I have a feeling it is something to do with a new to him car............................Cats are running around in the back garden like little mad things, with the wind in their ears!NND have gone off to Staffordshire to view a puppy, I expect cutness over load when they get back with loads of photos.Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Hello all. Thanks for the thread. I love it when we have all the lists at once.
I'm always amazed by you all on here so please keep celebrating all your little wins. They add up you know.
DGD2 is here today but just having a nap. Almost all the dailies have been done and we walked Poppet. Still a bit windy out there.Spend less now, work less later.8 -
Just jumping on to see everyone's ok after the storm - ok that and procrastinating over how to word the summary of a report!
- one load washing done and firmly pegged out. At the moment we have wind and sun so should dry everything nicely.
- walked down the garden to inspect any wind damage. Thankfully none; the loud crash we heard was one of the old patio doors leaning against the house waiting for someone who wants to make a cold frame out of it. It landed 'face down' on the patio but didn't damage anything.
- washing included bathroom mats, so I swept and mopped the bathroom floor.
- swept and mopped kitchen floor while I was about it.
- wudupa
- have actually done most of the report now.
- put a few more jigsaw bits in while waiting for wm to finish spinning.
I plan to make myself a 'while Mr N is away' list. Anyone done wall pilates, it seems to be popping up on ads a lot?Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.7
