I did write to them but had heard nothing but I have a feeling that the letter was not actioned on
As I have gone online, which must be a new thing for our council and all I can see is a C T claim on our claim number
What can I do if they have closed it ? As is said I have had no letters or anything from them. Can I appeal ?
The account of HB is in my partners name and as I said before he has ill health and I will need to sort this out Not sure if the council will speak to me
Panicking now

UPDATE
ALL OK THANK GOODNESS
Managed to speak to someone who looked into asap and got a higher up colleague and I emailed the link regarding the mixed aged couple regulations HB CIRCULAR A9/2019 ......they knew about it. Have added that to our claim notes
The HB is only suspended as such , and terminates on his birthday at 66 They said as soon as I get confirmation I get the IR ESA to phone them up and they will reinstate it
To say I am relieved it is an understatement
I will phone ESA next week and say its urgent now and try and speak to someone in charge
THANKS FOR ALL YOUR HELP AS ALWAYS

Glad it's sorted after I continued to advise that ringing is always better and much quicker.1 -

I got lucky on the phone call to be honest as she was very helpful and made an effort to get a higher colleague to check that I was correct in what we were planning to do.
(This is a council who did not pay our HB for 13 months at one stage, about 10 years ago, even though we were entitled to it and had to get a solicitor involved. We were lucky we were not evicted at that point......so this is why I am overly cautious with any communications with them)
Again a big thank you for telling me to phone up as I feel more in control now as such.

Just an update I phoned the ESA dept the other day regarding my ESA3 form ,as it has been nearly 4 weeks now , its linked to my HB claim I need to sort of paying the rent etc
Anyway, she said they would escalate it and hopefully someone will get to it soon. Also to phone in 7 days to see whats happening
Another question if I may, now all being well this goes to plan and I end up IR ESA , when my partner gets his state pension in mid April will I have to do another ESA3 to say our income has changed again ? ? Or would it be something else ?
As if I will have to do that again, I may ask for a ESA3 form when I phone up next as well. ( I never actually got one in the end from when I phoned up 4 weeks ago, I had an older one lying around and used that). Just so I am prepared.
The timescale its taking is so much longer than I thought it would be. Although I know in the long run if it goes to plan it will be worth the stress of waiting.
Appreciate your help

Update I have managed to get the IR ESA sorted out and had a phone call from them I am on both CB ESA and IR ESA
I phoned the HB dept to say it has been from the date I applied for it in Feb and have sent a copy of the letter ( by the council website) .
ESA manually did a letter for me just to say that my award is partly IR ESA to show the HB dept
However they are still dragging their heels about it
Will the HB now come under my name as I am the one on a working age benefit now and not my partner ?
I am going to phone up again today as it will be about 7 weeks this Monday that the rent has not been paid
Thanks
